SCHOOL ...................?!>!!?!?!?!?

I left a school 1 year ago and everyone hated me. now i'm going back and everybody still hates me as far as i know. they are very violent and scary. How can I not get beaten up? PLEASE and thank you

Well i went through the same thing, but im a dude so im not sure if it's the same. What i did is i got over it and learned how to fight. I fought the dude that was giving me the bad problem and everyone was so scared of me that nobody messed with me anymore. For you i think you should be friends with some people like me and they will stick up for you. Or if your to scared of everyone tell the dean or the principal to solve the problem.

SChool>>>>>>>??????............................?

love it hate it........ and what else is there to do before school starts....

get in shape...
wake up early....

thanks alot

Sometimes I hate it. But looking back on last year, I loved it! The first few weeks of school feel weird b/c you're not used to it but later on it's all good. I don't like the first semester that much except for the 2 holiday breaks (thanksgiving and christmas!) b/c I think the 2nd semester is when really exciting and crazy stuff happens that you remember most.Idk, maybe its just me but the 2nd semester rocks. Probably b/c warmer weather and its closer to summer. lol.

What else to do before school starts? Umm..well, I'm surprised you put wake up early b/c I always sleep in but waking up early is actually a good idea that I think I'll follow as well. Other ideas:

*Get stuff together for school (finish up school shopping, especially before tax free weekend b/c it's going to be crowded, good stuff will be gone and rude people will be making the day awful)
*Call up a few friends you still haven't seen and see if you can arrange a get together.
*Spend time outside before you won't have time to
*Plan a trip to the beach if you live near one, go to Six Flags or something like that one last time.
*Go to bed early. No more caffeine, late night movies or video games, etc.
*Text or call friends and see who took what. If you get your schedule before school starts, see who's in your classes. Or just see where you can meet up with your friends on the first day of school.
Just think of what you wanted to do this summer but haven't had time to do or what you need to do to get ready for school. That's what I'd do. For me I wanna finish decorating my room and keep in touch w/ my friends in hopes we'll get some classes together!

'Hope this helps and have an AWESOME school year and great rest of the summer!!!

Can our school district save money by using one boiler to heat 3 schools on one property?

Currently, Our school district is in the process of planning to replace the boilers of the Elementary school, the Junior High, and the High school, for an estimated cost of $12 million. Would is be possible to have just one larger boiler in one of the schools and pipe the steam in insulated pipes to each school? The three schools are only separated by a football field and a track, so they form a triangle on the same property.

"Pushing" steam that far is very questionable. You should look into using hot water rather than steam. You could probably make the system work more efficiently if the boiler was centrally located. That would involve a new facility but in the long run, your cost for maintenance and total heat cost would be much less. It is usually cheaper to heat with hot water than steam.

What home school program offers gifted and/or advance courses for middle school students?

My daughter wants to enroll in a home school program but she is in gifted at her school. If we take her out of school and we place her in a home school program, well she loose her space in the gifted program. If not what program can I place her in and if so how will they know where to place her. What programs are there available for her that have gifted and are virtual or that I don't have to actually teach her. Just like Abeka Academy or Florida Virtual School.

  • School Answering Machine – Neatorama

There’s a video clip making the rounds on the Net about a supposed school answering machine.

The story goes like this: When administrators of the Maroochydore High School in Queensland, Australia, implemented a policy requiring students and parents to be responsible for attendance and homework, parents of children with failing grades sued. The staff of the school recorded this answering message as a response:

In 1998 the sole high school in the Palisades Charter Schools group, the 2,400-student Charter High School, instituted an attendance policy mandating that any student absent without a valid excuse ten or more days per semester be failed, regardless of his academic achievements. One of the results of this policy was that in February 2002 forty Palisades High teachers assigned a total of 130 failing grades to students whose classwork would otherwise have merited passing grades, because those students recorded absences and tardiness in excess of the school’s stated attendance policy. After vociferous complaints (and threats of lawsuits) from parents who contended they were unaware of, or didn’t agree with, Palisades High’s attendance policy (even though every student and parent had been informed of it), LAUSD officials said the failing marks might have to be voided because the attendance policy was not submitted to and approved by the school board. Without board approval, the school must follow the policies of the LAUSD, which states that students must be graded on the work they do and attendance may not be used as a reason to fail
