Baby Boy Christening Shoes

My nephew and his wife are having there baby boy christened at the beginning of July. I have 2 daughters aged 7 and 9 years. Any suggestions to what they could wear. I would love get my girls white dresses and white shoes. Is this over the top??? .. My girls do like pretty girly dresses. but not too sure on the white... after all its not them thats being christened.. also .. should I buy them matching outfits... or get them something completely different each.. or contrasting... ideas please

My son will be wearing a beige 3 piece suit and shoes, at this age does he need a christening shawl/blanket? I have 3 other children but they were christened at 4 months old and they all had a christening shawl/blanket but they were small babies.
i meant for ettiqute reasons as my other 3 had christening shawls.. As i dont want to look like i am treating him different to the other 3 children, its a bit difficult

No he just needs to be there , I truly don't think God will mind ,even if he wore his pj"s.

Explain to me...when I was 4 months old, I was christened in an Episcopalian church. My mum dressed me in a white christening gown that for all intent and purpose was a dress. Everybody thought I was "beautiful"... I have 4 sisters...two older, two younger, they wear my jeans, my shirts, my socks, my ties, my hats, my shoes...they do this whenever they want...they go where ever they want...and not a person on the planet says A SINGLE WORD about them wearing male clothing. In fact...they make "boy-shorts" for girls and it is perfectly acceptable...so...(and he YELLS) SO...why is society so concerned that I want to wear something besides jeans, slacks or other pants...boring shirts with no pizzazz and the same old black or brown loafers or tennis shoes? Why is it that females can wear whatever they want to school, work or just for fun and it's "wow, is that ever cute on you" but if a male experiments, steps over that "LINE" just a bit...he's weird, insecure, gay, neurotic, etc., etc., etc., I'm none of those things...I enjoy all the "male" things...action movies, sports, a good old dirty joke...but I can also, sew a hem, cook a damn good meal, style my hair, feed a baby, CHANGE A BABY, and look damn good in a short skirt and 3 inch heels. So, tell me why? Why am I weird, queer, strange, or whatever you want to call me...because I see value in my "feminine" side and wish to explore it...it's okay for women to explore their "maleness"...why can't I? I agree with you. Look at Shakespeare... all his plays were performed by men... even the female characters. They had to wear women's clothing. It wasn't weird then. Why is it weird now?

I think it's just that things change from year to year and decade to decade. Think about it. What if I wore leg warmers to work tomorrow? It was perfectly acceptable in the 80's, but now... not so much.

So, you can wear what you want to in the privacy of your own home, but sadly, not in public. Maybe in the next decade, it will be "in" for guys to wear skirts. Who knows?

Susenna Lyle Rodriguez. She is my mother. She stood at the door and smiles, her big, warm, motherly smile. She had one hand on her basketball sized stomach and the other placed lovingly around my step-father, Kevin Patrick White. My little sister, Mia was standing by my side. Both of her arms wrapped around me. My twin step-brothers, Jesse and Ashton, stood in front of my mom’s legs.
I realize, now, that I’m here, everything that I will be missing. My school Saint June’s christen Academy, though I was ever so happy to leave that school and though god damned itchy uniforms. I would miss my two best friends, Liana and Luna. I’d miss my cat Mew Mu and my room, its baby blue walls and scruffy white carpet. I’d miss my mom, most of all, her silly self. I miss it all.
“Come on Mia. Get your bags we are going on a road trip.” I said, reluctantly. She squealed with delight. My mom smiles her warm motherly smile again.

“Mom, mostly. I kind of never liked Kevin. He’s creepy. I’m glad we are moving in with Nana and Papa.”

Jasmine is 'I'. Her little sister Mia and her are going to live with her Nana "grandma" and Papa "Grandpa" because Mia feels overwhelmed because of the new baby and the little brothers. Mia wants to go live with her Nana, Papa, and cousin Su so she can get away from it all. Mia wants to come because she'll miss her sister. later on in the story Jasmine meets Harvey Wilkenston, her Papa's best friend. She then meets his two sons, Hunter and Simon and his three daughters, Lilly, Rose, and Silver Rivers. Jasmine takes up dating Hunter but he soon learns that she isn't the only one keeping secrets. Jasmine meets Alexander Anderson. A local vampire with his family of 8 and himself, making 9. Alexander doesn't like Jasmine in the way she likes him. Alexander turns down Jasmine's thousands of requests. Though, Jasmine, being able to see the future, knows he will soon love her the way she does him. And then they meet the Leaders. The Leaders are the supreme royalty of the vampire realm.

I think it's okay, but you could be a little more detail and watch out for adjectives. Also in the beginning when she says "I'm going to miss..." it sounds like Bella in Twilight, so be careful on that. As for the title weel we have very little info on what the story major plot will be about. Remeber the title is the last thing you should worry about. But here are some that I could think of based on what I read:

A new Beginning or A new start

The sisters' new start
