Baby Boy Walking Shoes

I can't remember where but i read that shoe size is coordinated to clothing size. Starting with newborn size 1/2, 0-3 months size 1, 3-6 mo size 2, 6-9 mo size 3, and 9-12mo size 4. These would be infant size shoes not kids. So by the decsription you gave I'd say size 4. You can also go to a store and find a sizing chart. Sizes are a little different for infants than they are for toddlers or children.

I was shopping at Target.com looking for some dress shoes for my little boy. I found some but the sizes say 2m, 3m, etc..Can anyone help me understand if they are reg sizes or not.

M-medium
W-wide (usually wide toed)

0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6- newborn, 1 mth, 2 mth, 3 mth, 4 mth, 5 mth, 6 mth.

and you cannot always go by months. every child's foot is different, you have to check the size up close and personal.

ALSO, for a baby not yet walking, get a shoe that has a soft canvas or cloth type sole. you DO NOT want to use a real shoe yet, it can actually hurt their feet and impede development.
to be quiet honest w/you, i never bought shoes for my kids until they were walking well, and it was freezing outside, they had sandals for trips to the park, but usually ran around barefoot during the summer.
a child's foot grow SO fast that shoes are just not economical or practical, and they CAN cause deformities if not changed out frequently w/correctly fitting shoes.

my little boy was measured a size 3i at clarks but they only go to a H. iv looked everywhere but cant find anything my little boy is now walking and is needing shoes.

our son is 9 1/2 months old...right now he wears a size 2 in infant shoes (like walmart baby shoes and stuff)...

The only sandals that I have found at walmart are more like a slick fake leather stuff and I can't even stand to wear something like that...these are the only sandals that I have found that would probably work for our son...

Try baby's rus they have a ton of shoes. I was going to link some but theres like 250 of them.

And to add alot of the begginer sandals are that hard fake leather stuff. I put a sock under them to prevent them from hurting. They have crocs for babies too now i saw them at toysrus when i was there last week but they dont seem to be online.

I live next to Cleveland in a suburb. I've seen tons at Walmart or Target. My opinion though.

You can also do craigslist.com. Or ebay. My sis-in-law got my daughter shoes off of ebay. I've been looking on craigslist. Can't find any that'd fit her but have seen some nice ones.

Babies R Us tends to be expensive but you could check. Some stuff is on clearance now.

Walmart (I know I mentioned it) has these soft starter shoes. Forget how much. Go there first !
