Boy Shoes Sizes

I'm a women's size 7.5 and I've found a pair of shoes that I'm wanting. Unfortunately, they're only in boys and mens sizes. I've noticed that boys sizes tend to end at 6 and then mens begin at 7. Does that mean the boys sizes have just crossed over into the mens sizes? I've checked size charts and I'm a 6 in mens, so would a 6 in boys be the same?

Yes there is not a different scale.
There may be a width difference but check how they fit.

if they are two sizes bigger wouldnt it be size 10? why 6 thats two sizes smaller

6 in boys it is 2 sizes down.

The sizing for men's and women's is different.
Not only are they different for men and women but they vary by manufacturer and retailer eg a womens size 8 in Faith is a European 41 but in ASDA is a European 42.

I have worked in footwear buying for over 7 years now and although there are industry guidelines there are no set rules when it comes to sizing standards

So I was wondering what size does a boy end at and is there anythign such as boy size 6.5 or is it men now.

I think boy/kid sizes go to like 13 or something and then reset around 6 mens

River Island has a great selection on casual shoes for men online.
Boy shoes are till size 4 and men shoes start with shoe size 6.
I´m puzzled. Are in the UK no men/boys with a shoe size 5 or 5 1/2?
P.S. my son is 12 years old and has a shoe size 5

River Island does not make a size 5. I believe that they used to, but it was their least sold size or something, so they just cut it off. I would try the size 4 or 4.5 if they have it, the shoes might run big.
