My son wont be 4 until october but i want to try to find a place because most places book up quick and you need to do it early enough. For his first birthday we did chuck e cheese, the past 2 years we just had them at the house. I like having it at the house but then i have to do everything and its around the same price to go some places, so why not have them do everything. lol. Im inviting around 10-15 kids. I have a big family and don't invite a lot of people because it would just cost way out of my range. I invite the people i am close with. More adults come but im not worrying about them now. I called my local bowling alley and they are 14.95 a kid which includes 1 hour bowling (with shoes), 1 hour in the party room, choice of hot dog, cheeseburger, or slice of pizza with a side of fries and drink. chuck e cheese is similar but the one i think i like the most. its 13.99 a kid and you get the pizza, drink, and tokens. I looked at build a bear but they are cheapest 10$ per kid but then i would have to figure out food after that. Its in my local mall and to have the rest of the party in the food court isn't what i want. I was wondering if you could give me any more ideas that wont be too expensive. when i did the at home parties they cost around 200 give or take some and that was on food, decorations, and all. (My sons birthday is Halloween and so i do the goody bags with that theme.) Thanks for your help!
My kids (boys) love the parties in gyms. Lots of physical activities.
Bowling is great but for a 4 y.o. it can be difficult, the bowling balls are usually too heavy.
Places with inflatable jumpers/jumping castles are also fun but you can just rent a castle and set it up in your backyard or nearby park. Chose jumping castle that has a slide - much more fun!
Try this website http://www.toddler-net.com/Birthday_page 1.html They have more ideas and links to many kids birthday places.
..i dont like going out with boys to eat because i HATE eatin infront of boys 8-)
..i dont like going to the cinema coz the thought of sittin next to a boy in the dark is kinda uncomfortable for me and plus ciuples kiss in the cinema and stuff 8-)
..and i dont like bowling with boys coz the shoes look stupid and i throw like a man 8-)
Lol, yes me!
I don't like going out to dinner with people cos I'm quite fussy what I eat; and I wouldn't want him to think I'm high-maintenance. (I'm a vegetarian who's allergic to mushrooms and the veggie alternative quorn. I also have a major fear of sweetcorn!!)
I totally feel the same about the cinema... just sitting there in the dark for a couple of hours, I think it would feel kind of awkward and pressurise you into doing... stuff!
I HATE bowling fullstop. The shoes always come up far too big and are just soooo ugly! I can't bowl to save my life and hate getting my fingers stuck in the ball, plus I'm extra weak. Last time I was forced to go I forgot to wear socks so I had icky wet feet where they spray the shoes, yuck! So, with all these aspects I tend to be pretty ratty when anywhere near the bowling centre.
So where can we go? :P (I'm 15 btw)
Glad I found someone who feels the same! Princess Lola x

the day it happened: we celebrated the school year by going bowling. We went on a bus for a while to get to a far away bowling alley. after we got off the bus, we needed to get bowling shoes and a bowling ball. my group was playing against a team of all boys. we all shared snacks and drinks, mostly an amp (energy drink) that the other group bought. we finished our bowling games and went to a park. while most of my friends played volley ball, one of my friends and i hung around to take millions of pics. we layed down in the grass for a little. from here, the back of my throat hurt a little, but i ignored it. then we went home. im just a little worried, but it doesnt seem to be that big to anyone i tell
go to the dr. IT's also bad to share drinks with more than one person and even that.
Ok, I went bowling the other night and I went a lot this year.
The one guy that works there is really nice and comes to talk to my family. He's in Highschool I think and so am I, well last night we got one lane and cause the rest of the bowling alie was full. When the people next to us left the guy put half of us on the other lane well I got pushed over the the other lane while I was bowling and I took my brothers turn by axident, so my brother went up to the desk where he ws sitting and said my sister took my turn and he said jerk ( in a teasing way) and he taped on my shoulder and when I turned around he was on the other side. He has been hanging around us every Thrusday. "Cause thats the only day when we go.
Does he like me?
I like him.
And I don't have a sister just to let you know.
And when I was on the way to the bathroom I had to go by the desk. And he made a little weird face also I just got my shoe's from him then headed for the bathroom so that might be the reason he made that face.
He's really funny and really nice too.
I love flirting with him.
I have talked to him a very little but he talks to my family.
He's not shy he goes to almost everyones alley while we are there. but I think he stays at ours a little longer.
P.S I am almost 15 and I think he might be 18
I know that's not good but hes so nice.
he just flirting, have fun with it
