River Island has a great selection on casual shoes for men online.
Boy shoes are till size 4 and men shoes start with shoe size 6.
I´m puzzled. Are in the UK no men/boys with a shoe size 5 or 5 1/2?
P.S. my son is 12 years old and has a shoe size 5
River Island does not make a size 5. I believe that they used to, but it was their least sold size or something, so they just cut it off. I would try the size 4 or 4.5 if they have it, the shoes might run big.
just usen them for some casual walking they dont need to be athletic im size 6 so any reccomendations?
Let me just tell you this, I spent the last semester on study abroad in Europe where all the boys are seriously hip, and they all wear very flat shoes, not skater shoes.And very few of them wore vans slip on style shoes, those some did. Also the hip boys over here in the US normally go and find themselves some vintage hightop sneakers on eBay, like crazy 80's shoes. I used to date a scenester boy over here and those are the kind of shoes they all drooled over, vintage "kicks".

the adidas marathon suede shoes would be the kind my ex-bf and his scenester friends would have liked, the adidas chile 62 shoes is closer to the European style. I didn't look at the other pages of their shoes.
I am looking under boys shoes and it says youth at the top of the page but, I want to make sure I am not buying baby shoes.

Every time I shop for new clothes for my son I notice a lack of nice clothes for boys. Girls have racks upon racks of clothing from pjs to dress clothes, but boys have like two racks, same with shoes. I want to get my son some dressy stuff for church as well as casual play clothes. Does nobody care about our little boys?
You know, I have found a lot of really cute things for my boys at baby gap and old navy. I will buy a couple pairs of slacks and a nice white or navy polo shirt for church. I have also bought a few button-ups from old navy. I LOVE polos and rugby shirts on my boys for play clothes, they are so cute!!
Gymboree has also seemed to have a lot of nice dress pants for special occasions (like Christmas) and I have actually found a lot of fantastic sweater vests at Target of all places!
I agree with you though, there are some stores that are severly lacking in the boys department!
Okay my style is somewhere between like, Puma and Adidas and SOME skater shoes but depends on the colors.
