i am in the school musical and apparently, i need to buy boys' jazz shoes by monday. is there any store i can buy them from that is not online? first one to answer with a good answer gets best answer! thanks!
Look online for dance warehouses in your area. The usually are a little more expensive than places like Walmart, Target, Payless BUT will lat you a lot more longer than the cheap one(probably 2 years)

Do I need to specifically buy boys ones, or are girls ones acceptable? I have been looking on ebay but mostly they say they are girls ones. What do you think?
Any jazz boot or runner or jazz slipper can be used for boys and girls. Another option is to buy foot underwear for jazz. Basically, it goes around you toes and then there is a piece of shoe under the top of the foot that allows you to spin. If you aren't sure if your son is going to continue jazz, these are a good start as they only cost 20 dollars. Jazz slippers are your next best option, running around 60 dollars for a new pair. Jazz boots (which I highly don't recommend) run about 120-150 dollars. However, most dance teachers do not like them as they take away from your pointe and are very clunky.
Be careful where you buy your shoes because he can damage his feet if he isn't using proper shoes. My jazz slippers barely last me 8 months and then I'm ready for a new pair. Also, keep in mind that leather stretches so always buy dance shoes tighter because the will grow.

My son who's 8 has to wear white jazz shoes. I've looked on ebay and other sites but they don't say if there for boys or not so I wondered if all jazz shoes are unisex?
