Boys Sketcher Shoes

We tried sketchers, they lasted about 6 months. Are there ANY shoes that will last longer?

I am so tired of shoes tearing up within a month or 2. I have bought brand name shoes from cheap shoes to sketchers to nike and they are all coming apart within 2 months. I know boys are rougher on shoes but this seems ridiculous. I don't know what to do. Any suggestion?

my boy seems to do good in new balance. they last longer than most others and he usually outgrows them before they fall apart.

There was a commercial where ninjas or something of the sort came and tied up a boy wearing shoes with laces and then he got a pair of sketchers Airators. Any clue where I can find this commercial online?

My husband lost his job almost three months ago, but just recently got another job. This job is not paying that well, but I am thanking God up above that He gave my husband this job. Money is extremely tight. And my friend bought my little boy a three piece suit, however, he does not have any dress shoes to go with it. He has a pair of brown Sketchers(they kind of look like clogs) and two pair of tennis shoes. Now, my question is, would the brown pair of clogs/sketchers pass for dress shoes? What would you do in this situation? It's Christmas... its a special time and I want both of my children to look nice. Thank you so much for the advice and I wish everyone one of you happy holidays!

I would go with the sketchers and a pair of dark colored socks. If you are taking pics take off the shoes and the socks will look nice without making the shoe issue stand out.

hey i got a letter saying that im invited to attend their first round of orientation and hiring interviews. It says that i will have the opportunity to choose from several participating employers including denver parks and recration,denver public library, boys and girls clubs, and groundwork denver.

which one would you like to work in and why? and what is ground work ? and what is denver parks and recreation what would the job be? well okay and tips on the interviews please and i dont have any nice shows i lost my heels all i have are my sketchers shoes that look nice when you polish them they look like this and they are black are black leather and they are like flat shoes not flats
also should i wear my prescription glasses? yes or no i can see fine without them i just can't see far but i hardly wear them at school cuz i can see where im going and stuff

I think the best thing to do is do a little research. Employers LOVE to hear you asking well-informed questions because it means you are genuinely interested in working with them (because you cared enough to do the research).

If you call a company beforehand and get to know about them, then you can ask even more intelligent and targeted questions in the interview.

And these are good questions. Even I don't know what 'groundwork Denver' is. Google it.

If you're 16, what they are probably looking for is people who can be honest and mature. Being genuinely interested in trying something new is always a plus.
