My daughter who is seven years old, wears a size 4. I want to get her some hiking shoes but cannot find affordable girl hiking shoes in her size. However there are plenty of affordable boy hiking shoes. I know that from toddler sizes to size 13, shoe sizes are the same for both boys and girls but not sure at what point that changes.
I think that if you wanted to get her boys hiking shoes then she would need a size 2 1/2 to 2.

I have been searching all over the internet and have come up with no answer. My son wears a youth size 7.5 shoe, he is 13. I can not find the right kind of shoes and boots in his size in the store or online. I need to know if there is a way to figure out what a youth size 7.5 shoe would convert into in mens shoes. I can't find this conversion anywhere. Everything I find on measurements shows the mens shoes being too big, even the smallest sizes I can find.
Help! I'm trying to get him a good pair of hiking boots and some sneakers for his Boy Scout campouts and hiking trips.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Or go to a shoe store and have them measure your son's foot.

Please don't answer if your only going to complain about how labels are bad and how I should be my own label etc etc. I know. I agree. I'm just curious to see what other people think. That's it!!!
-My favorite band is Evanescence. My favorite genre of music is rock. I like alternative metal the best.
-I'm really shy and quiet in school, but around my friends I'm just as loud as a normal person.
-I do farely well in school (I'm in 2 advanced classes). But I reeaally hate school. Probably more than normal. The classes are all horribly boring. Therefore I'm not a nerd because nerds like school.
-I really only have 2 close friends. I have about 3 or 4 other people that I talk to.
-I really don't give a c*** about my popularity. I'm not popular either. But I really can't understand why people care about their social status. All that matters is that you have at least 1 good friend.
-Most girls would scream at the sight of a bug (like those 5 inch alive bugs you'd see at a museum). But I don't. I think they are really cool. I love snakes too (as long as they don't try to kill me). I used to spend my summers getting covered in mud and catching frogs/bugs and hiking, so I'm used to bugs.
-I don't wear make up or spend more than 25 minutes getting ready in the morning (shower, hair, and clothing). I just put my hair in a pony tail.
-I'm not really into sports. I don't follow sports or celebraties.
-I love to read and write and draw. But I love depressing books and poems. I love writing "emo" poems.
-I usually wear boys black skate shoes with skullson them. I love beanies and arm socks for some stange reason that I dont know.I wear jeans, a hoodie and a t shirt. i like wearing black. I paint my nails black alot and I hate the color pink.
-If I could wear skulls on my clothing every day i would.

add: relax and have fun, it's camping not a trip to the dentist.
So, this is just a small section of my story that I am messing around with. Its just the rough draft but I still wanted some opinions. So, what do you think? Do you hate it, love it? Why? Do the sentences flow? Is there to much detail, to little? What do you think the story is about? Do you relate to the characters in any way? Any questions you can think of. I want detailed answers on why or why wouldn't you pick up the book. If it was published and all, which I highly doubt.
"Easy Benji." Abigail Joe Scott said gently to the border collie who had suddenly sat up and pricked forth its black ears.
The girl's brow furrowed ever so slightly as she cranked the worn leather wheel to her car; if you could call it that. The poor rusted 1978 Ford Fiesta barley managed to start, let alone roll along on its tattered tires. The leather seats in the car were worn down from years of people sliding in and out of the rusted and weary doors. The old and tired engine always seemed to have problems but somehow Abbie was blessed, for it always, in some way, managed to get her where ever she needed to go.
Abigail straightened out the tires, the black rubber crackling over the loose gravel of the road, sprouting out a dust of dirt. Abbie rolled down the window and leaned over to the passengers side, "Hey there, need a ride?" she asked the stranger on the side of the road.
The boy was walking alone along the side of a long stretch of gravel road, a light film of dust resting on his shoes and the bottom of his pant leg. On top of his firmly jaw set head the boy has a tousle of dirty blonde hair that seemed it hadn't been cut in a while. Just beneath were a pair of almond shaped eyes, a deep hazel gray color that made Abbie feel like she should turn and hang her head in shame. A few light freckles were splattered across the boys nose and cheeks. Along with the clothes on his back, the boy carried a hiking backpack as well that seemed stuffed.
A grateful smile made the strangers light pink lips curve up smoothly, "Sure, that would be great." He said in a deeper voice that held a bit of fervor in it.
Abigail gave him a half hearted smile and opened the door, it was only then that she noticed the boy was carrying a large black leather case.
"What's in that?" Abbie asked tentatively, indicating to the case which the boy had set on the floor near his feet.
The twenty two year old looked up at Abbie and grinned at her weary expression, "It's just my guitar." He reassured her, closing the car door...
Yes, I know it ends abruptly and I know its not the most interesting piece of work you have read. Thanks ahead of time.
You go in a little too much for detail that doesn't really move the story forward. I'd drop a few adjectives and descriptions. And it's confusing that you use both 'Abigail' and 'Abbie' in referring to your character. Just give the full name once and stick to Abbie otherwise.
There's not enough here to say what it's about. It looks like the start of a romance, but it could certainly go in several other directions.
Overall, I'd say it's good, not great, but strong enough to keep working on.
