Wide Shoes For Boys

I have looked up some of the other answers in previous questions with pretty much the same results I have found. I don't like the styles (and price) of Stride Rite shoes, which we started out with. We have been using New Balance and they don't have alot of choice. He is going into a size 10 toddler (he is a big 2 1/2 year old). I found a pair that I like okay, but am looking for more options. Anyone have any suggestions for websites? Links would be appreciated. Thanks!
NBwebexpress has some. The pair I'm considering is $37.99 + tax with free shipping. They don't have alot of choices though. It's not as bad as Stride Rite and they (IMO) are cuter at NB, but that's still pretty expensive. I'm kinda OCD about keeping them in good shape since I don't want to have to buy 2 pair at that price and have a play pair. I got lucky with adjustable strap sandals at Wal-Mart for the summer, but the winter months are going to be a challenge.

I am having the same problem with my son... so I would love to hear what people come up with... we have to buy my 3 year old stride rites as well... and they cost alot!!!!!! ugh....

my son has wide feet and the only place i found shoe that are wide for little boys is stride rite. does anyone know anywhere else.

I used to work at Payless ShoeSource. They have a lot of wide width. They are inexpensive, but good quality. Baby and toddlers aren't in shoes long enough to worry about name brands.

Where do you find shoes that are wide enough. She is wearing boys shoes from Clarks and is now getting teased at school. She is 5 and a size 11H none of the girly shoes at Clarks are any good as her feet spill out over the top. Any help much appreciated.

When my son first started to walk my in-laws got him shoes from Stride Rite. They took him in there and they took measurements of his feet. The shoes were designed to help him learn how to walk right. My son does not have hypermobility. But I though that maybe you could look in to Stride Rite. They might be able to help you. They specialize in shoes for children.

I need a ladies shoe size 8.5 EE width but I want to buy a boys shoe as they are wider and cost less than a extra wide ladies shoe. Any help would be appreciated. I've got a very wide fitting foot with a narrow heel, and often find it really difficult to get shoes that fit i.e. don't rub and give my toes blisters or slip off at the back!

I'm looking for a new pair of trainers/sneakers and was wondering if buying boys or mens shoes would be better? Would it mean a wider fit? I'm not fussy about wearing men's shoes as long as they fit!

I'm a ladies UK size 5 :)
