i need a size 8. i was looking for roxy, etnies, or DC's. I want laces, and not the flats. i was looking for a coor thata could match everything. i really wants somthing that i dont see much of. i would like a newer style and some bright colors like blue, pink, or green. i want there to be black and white too. i dont want the fabric that can get marked on easy bc i dont wnt people to step on my shoes and then il have a mark on them. i want the bace to be white. thanks for ur help =D

I usually buy my shoes online. I think that as long as you love them, they are in style. I have strange taste in everything, but if you like something, wear it, forget what others think and enjoy your individual style. Okay...i have noticed that the little keds style shoes are making a comeback, as well as Kangaroos. Those shoes will always rock. Convers All-Stars are always a good choice too.
when did your SON learn to tie his shoes? i ask for son, bc i know girls are a little quicker in these sorts of things
they do have velcro for adults, you'd just have to go to a nursing home to see somebody wearing them!! ha!
My son was 5 when he figured it out. We went over and over it until both of us hated tying shoes, but then i stopped pushing him. I just let him play with one of his baby brothers' shoes and practice on his own. He messed with that for about 3 days and finally got it. Once he figured it out i haven't had to tie a shoe sence. Oh yeah and dont put your kid in velcro, you wouldn't wear it why should he. :)

Women demand access to the national sport
That recently led the Toronto Leaside Girls Hockey Association to threaten to launch a human-rights complaint over the city's failure to provide equal access at public arenas.
"The human rights complaint is an absolutely last resort," said association president Ron Baker.
Toronto Mayor David Miller, who is siding with the association against the independent boards managing public arenas, promised to take action at city council to ensure girls get their fair share of ice time.
"That is not acceptable. It's 2009. It is not 30 years ago. Girls' hockey is extremely popular and the girls have a right to play," Mr. Miller said.
But Alf Johnston, vice-president of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, said the issue has more to do with lack of public arenas. "You cut up a pie," he said, "and the pie isn't big enough."
In Saguenay, Ms. Lebel negotiated for four months this summer to gain equal access for her five girls' teams. "We're taxpayers too, even if it's for girls," she said.
