Cute wide toddler girl shoes?

My daughter just turned 1 two weeks ago. Her feet seemed to have grown extra wide since. She needs either a 4 or 5 depending on the style. I need to know of some places that carry cute girls dress shoes. I am not going to stride rite to spend a ton of money for her to outgrow them next week. I work at Sears in the shoe dept and we just don't carry the cute dress shoes for her anymore. Any ideas on who else does would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Girls only - what size shoes do you wear?

you can also list if there's anything uncommon about ur feet like if they're wide or flat or you have an extra toe or whatever.
mine are 7 but i always get told how small my feet are so i'm curious about others' size.

I have the smallest foot here...I wear a 2-2 1/2 in kids shoes.

I have flat feet and since I danced on toes shoes for 5 years, I have self made arches. I have no sense of balance because of this.

I'm planning on getting a new tattoo on my foot. Something small, swirly, and pretty!

So how much is too much for my 11 month olds shoes?

I bought tons of shoes for him while I was pregnant in sizes 0-6 months.I rarely put them on him because it seemed that he was uncomfortable and he wore sleepers most of the time since it was winter months. Now that he is 11 months I am having a hard time getting him to wear shoes.I went to a large name brand baby store a few weeks ago and had him fitted. The girl put him in a 2.5 Nike(my son weighs 25 pounds and is 32 inches tall, he is a big man)I thought she knew what she was doing, and they looked fine so I bought them and everytime I put them on him he screams! So again we aren't wearing shoes.Today when I picked him up from daycare they informed me that he needed to start wearing shoes to protect his feet, I agreed (I love his daycare)I went to Stride Rite, he was measured in a 5.5 Extra Wide.I was aggravated. She put the only shoe that came in that size:)on him and he was fine!!But they cost 55.00 and she said he would get about 2-3 months out of them.Doesn't that seem expensive?

Stride Rite costs a fortune! As much as I hate to admit it, I've found brand name shoes are more comfortable for my son and last FAR longer. So, now I skip Payless Shoe Source & Target shoes (although I buy them for myself :-)

Mervyn's seems to have the best prices on brand name shoes and their own brand is decent, too. I find it runs about $15-25 for a pair of sneakers. I don't know if regular shoes will accomodate your son's wide feet, but I'd have them remeasured, just to be sure.
