For halloween i want to be a flapper girl with the cute dress and hairband and shoes, my parents wont let me where big heels so i need very very tiny heels barely any heel at all. Do you know any places ( maybe more popular known) where i can find shoes like these??
Try party city, or the spirit halloween store.Party city has great selection, but spirit halloween has better costumes and accesories.

Kind of like the shoes professional dancers wear....check out the pictures on here. And rolled down stockings so the knees showed and they powdered their knees from what I read.

I already made my daughter, who is one and half yr old, a flapper girl costume. I thought it would be cute since her hair is kind of a bob and I would pair the dress with leggings, sparkly shoes, long gloves, feather headband and some necklaces. But I told my friend about it and she said "aren't they the girls with the long cigarettes?" I didn't even think about THAT! But she said it kind of in a snarky way. Is it not an ok costume???
But if a flapper girl isn't ok then why is being a pirate, whose life was stealing and drinking rum, ok for a kid?? I don't really see the difference.
yes, it sounds cute! its not like your giving her the cigarette as a prop for her costume.
Makes a great halloween costume
Costume comes with character flapper dress

I'm making my one and half yr old daughter a Halloween costume and now that I'm almost finished I wonder is it appropriate. I made her a flapper girl dress. I have the simple box style pink dress and the fringe sewn on it and I was going to pair with black leggings and sparkly black shoes and put a head band with a feather in it on her. Maybe some long gloves. I told my friend about it an she said aren't they the ones with the long cigarettes?? I guess I didn't even think about that but the way she said was like it was wrong. I don't know what do you think????
I don't think a flapper would be too appropriate for an infant.
I looove the 1920s style shoes. Not like "flapper girl" but like what they wore back then.
Shoes that have chunky 2-2 1/2 inc heels. Lace up maybe, for example:

1920's themed wedding advice or tips, on clothing, hair, makeup ...
Im having a 1920’s themed wedding, and i need some advice, what kind of music should we play? i know jazz and that sort of thing but any songs inperticular? and clothing…..my girls are wearing flapper dresses and boas, but we cant find and shoes, and accesories??? and our hair were still looking for a great pic to show our hair dresser. and as for makeup im not for sure what they wore back then, or even if the flappers wore makeup. so if anyone has any ideas or places for me to check out concerning the 20’s please help me!!!
http://www.fashion-era.com/Weddings/1921_old_wedding_photos.htmIt’s cool because it has wedding picutres starting with 1900.
Large bouquets of orchids and lily’s were a favorite choice for flowers. Ostrich fans were also quite popular with the ladies. Set the ambience of the decade by holding your wedding reception at a lounge or decorate your chosen location as a cabaret or speakeasy.
Bootlegging was big business for many, so be sure to add some “moonshine” bottles along the bar. Set up an old-time photo studio and hire a photographer to shoot guests in old fashioned costumes. This would make a wonderful keepsake to give to your guests as favors.
