Flower Girl Ballet Shoes

I have 3 flower girls in my wedding and we decided to have them wear ballet shoes (white ones made for flower girls, not for actual ballet) since it will be really comfortable for them and easy to walk in. My question is, should they all match, or should I just tell the moms whatever they find is fine? I'm guessing it doesn't matter if they match perfectly or not, but I don't always trust my judgment - thanks!
Kerrie - the moms are buying them because that is what is typically done - the parents of the child attendants' buy their attire just as bridesmaids and groomsmen buy their own attire.

If you mean everything matches, like the colour, brand, style, everything, then I don;t think it matters, as long as they are all white as you said.
I would be a little worried if you said just get whatever they can find and they showed up in pink, green and red shoes or something.

My nephew loves ladies accesories and clothes! Pink headbands with flowers, shoes with heels, ballet flats with glitter, dresses....

We don't prevent him from wearing these clothes around the home (except an expensive pair of shoes we don't want ruined) but I have never seen such a young child so interested in fashion, better yet fashion of the opposite gender!

Have any of you ever experienced this?

I have never heard of a boy or girl this young doing things like that. Since you allow him to wear women's clothing around the house i assume you don't mind him doing this, and you shouldn't. Some people might act all paranoid about it. It could be just a phase, or he might become a famous fashion designer when he grows upㅋㅋ

I personally don't like the doll in the dress, but the rest is lovely. Very cut for a 5th grader. Hey, some advice...try to get some more accessories. Like a cute big ring (huge rings are very fashionable right now). But do YOU like it? Because if the answer is yes, then wear it. You're the one wearing the clothes, so your opinion is the one that matters.

Let me add that...
I do NOT agree on children wearing make up/fake teeth/fake hair/etc etc...and I do not go out and buy a new outfit. I use one that I already have, or borrow one.

My daughter was in a baby beauty contest a couple of months ago and got 1st place over all , and Best Personality in her class. And she simply wore the dress she has on in my advatar pic. (which was a flower girl dress, from her uncles wedding ) . And I plan to put her in a petty skirt, with a leotard under it, with pink ballet shoes. All of this...except the skirt is ours. I am borrowing the skirt from my neice.
This is strictly for fun!! Not to mention that when I was little I was always put down and made fun of...so I would like to boost her confidance now, as much as possible. lol which has already been easy. I mean, we can't even go into the grocery store without people stopping us and telling us how pretty/beautiful she is.

My daughter does pageants and she started them at about 2yrs old she is now almost thirteen, she has learned so much from them.It has gave her good self esteem and to speak well in front of people and to conduct her self like a lady she holds a lot of title's but it does run into money if she stays with it but i feel it is a good experience.

I recently saw a girl wearing some yellow ballet flats. Across the top, there were several flowers, they were also yellow, and looked very very similar to the flowers on the Steve Madden Hanaa Flats http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id= 48798&DirectSearch=HANAa and the Steve Madden Florah Sandals http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id= 48713. I have no idea what brand her shoes were or where she got them. I've done every search online that I can think of and can't seem to find anything resembling these shoes. Has anyone ever seen anything like what I'm describing? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks!
