Ballerina slippers. Satin to go with the dress. You want the 2 yr old to walk her best and any heels will hinder that. Very nice dress and Best of luck.

Well my daughter (who will be 2 the day after the wedding), is going to be the flower girl for my friend's wedding (I'm the maid of honor =D) anyway, we bought her shoes & they are so adorable (mini versions of mine). They are the clear plastic kind with silver leafy designs on it w/rhinestones. Well the left one fits her perfectly, but the right one I couldn't get past getting her toes in them... I was like "I know this foot cant be fatter than the other one" so I got to looking at the shoes & the toe of that one is way small... like a manufactures defect... Ok heres my question: My mom said that it will stretch out by then if I work with it alot between now and then, like you know kinda gently pull on it or whatever... Do you think that it will stretch out?? Oh and the dress store where we bought if from doesn't do refunds, or exchanges... so that will really suck if they dont stretch... =(

Have her wear the shoes around your house as much as she can to help stretch them out. If not, she could just wear the shoes for the church part. Most people take their shoes off at the reception anyways... if she is even attending the reception.

Okay so I am 13 years old and I will be a flower girl soon .. I need to get a dress that is mauve (light purple ) but not too over the top.. what are some suggestions for dress types, hair shoes and that type of stuff

The Flower girls and Bride's Maids clothes (colors, styles and/or shoes) are the Bride's responsibility because they have to match the wedding motif especially with the Bride's own Gown. Check out with the bride first before you decide for yourself, perhaps the Bride has a wedding Planner or hired a make up artists, or any plans for you.

If the bridesmaids shoes are open toed, shouldn't the flower girls shoes be open toed?
My shoes will NOT be open toed

Does it even matter?

Depending on the age of the flower girl there may only be closed toed shoes available. Honestly, it doesn't really matter the only shoes that were photographed at my wedding were mine just caused they looked that good! I had red open toed strappy heels with rhinestones across the toe and down the heel they were amazing! My BM wore whatever black shoes they wanted. I think I had both open toed and peep-toe shoes to be honest I don't remember what shoes they wore (except for the 2 girls that borrowed shoes from my closet!)

I have 3 flower girls in my wedding and we decided to have them wear ballet shoes (white ones made for flower girls, not for actual ballet) since it will be really comfortable for them and easy to walk in. My question is, should they all match, or should I just tell the moms whatever they find is fine? I'm guessing it doesn't matter if they match perfectly or not, but I don't always trust my judgment - thanks!
Kerrie - the moms are buying them because that is what is typically done - the parents of the child attendants' buy their attire just as bridesmaids and groomsmen buy their own attire.

If you mean everything matches, like the colour, brand, style, everything, then I don;t think it matters, as long as they are all white as you said.
I would be a little worried if you said just get whatever they can find and they showed up in pink, green and red shoes or something.
