It seems impossible to find shoes that look like DC court, or athletic skat shoes that aren't made of either leather or suede. Does anyone have any recommendations, a picture of the shoe would be appreciated if you can thanks. Just a brand name will also do nicely.
With all the different brands that are out there, the shoe I was first given or actually purchased for varsity basketball was Converse with canvass uppers they have a variety of colors.

Yes! I love Avia shoes. I bought a pair last year at Kohl's that were on sale and I have continued to purchase them since. I have a large foot and it's between sizes, so it's hard for me to buy shoes. The Avia's fit perfectly and I don't have to go a size up ( i have a complex about that!).
Nike's are good too, but I am a single mom on a budget so I go with the cheaper of the two.
