I need to get my little girl a pair of ballet shoes. I am in Milton keynes centre and I only have the town centre outlets to choose from. I am thinking john lewis, house of frasier or debenhams may have some - does anyone know for sure?
I am very short of time so I can really only try one or 2 shops.

Our local John Lewis stocks pink ballet shoes. I have never seen them in Debenhams. I do not know about House of Fraser. Ringing before you go is a good idea.
Have fun shopping and remember, if buying from a department store rather than a dance shop, you should never buy dance slippers with 'room for growth'. They should fit snugly. Having extra length causes little ones to trip over the front of their shoes.
You should consider buying from an on-line dance supplier such as dance direct or planet dance if you need to replace practice slippers next time. Prices are very competitive and you can send back slippers (provided they are unworn) for exchange.

i want to start learning by wathcing dance videos people say not to get pointe cause i am not ready but is demi pointe fine and if so were do i get them
im sure there is a dance store in your town but if not try www.discountdance.com I would suggest taking classes but if you don't NEVER get pointe shoes with out a teacher because you can really hurt yourself and before you go on pointe you need to do ballet for at least 3 years or so

I have these ballet shoes from a couple years ago that still fit me. They were painted silver for my part in a performance, so they're no longer the light pink that standard ballet shoes typically are. I saw one girl wearing light pink ballet shoes with a little pyramid of studs - basically making them super cool flats.
What are some good ideas to put on mine? I don't want sequins or anything gaudy, just something classy and simple on the front part that makes them stylish.

they smell normal, but i have had a similar problem.. once i got these sandals, they were really really cute but one day they started smelling really bad.. so i hid them under my bed. not the best idea xD but then i started wearing them again & the smell went away. i dont really know what to tell you, but yeah its not normal, at least it didnt happen to me i have 2 pairs of vans & that never happened to me
