i need some ballroom dancing shoes... what i had in mind?
NICE DUAL STAIRCASE!

One of the girls in my ballroom class has some slipper like shoes.. they are totally flat and look like they are leather and have a lace and are up to her ankle kind of like boots.. but they are like leather socks if you know what i mean. She says they are very comfy and they are so easy to slide around in.

What kind of shoe does she have? i won't see her until later so i can't ask her personally...

Is there a website i can find thes type of shoes at somewhere?

Please help!

As a beginning competetive ballroom dance guy, what kind of shoes should I get?
Red Shoes On A Dance Floor

There's a lot of options out there. My friend (a girl) said that a pair of cheap shoes (like $75) will last only half a year, but a more expensive pair (like $200) will last a lot longer. I'm 20, so my feet shouldn't be growing THAT much, but what do I need to take into account when it comes to sizes and price options?

Don't overthink the problem or worry too much. I have several pairs that were in the $100-125 range with good longevity. Unfortunately, the ones that will feel best to you are a completely personal issue, and you'll just have to pick some decent ones and hope for the best. My favorite brand may stretch the baser end of your vocabulary, so I won't even tell you what they are.

girls would you date a 24 year old man with no job no car just a high school education?
cha cha cha-3

Okay so I pay for the dance classes we go to,he is my dance partner im trying to refine him. yet his whole world revolves around girls. Everything all he talks about is girl’s he is a little socially inept. i hoped that if he leaned to ballroom dance it help him. yet when their is a girl around he shows off pops his arm out of socket to impress her.

He 24 years old has no car, no job, nothing but a high school education. He is not doing anything with his life because he drops anything for a girl. He the most fickle person I know.

He drop his job for a girl, all his money went to his ex-girlfriend. He living with my brother not paying any bills my brother is supporting him.

All his goals he sets are unrealistic like he said
‘’ IM going to be a nascar driver’’. Then he got disarmed from the marines that’s all he talks about is being in the marines. Yet I talk to his mom she said’’ he was only in the military for two weeks’’.

Now he is living off my brother he cant kick him out he have no where to go. He won’t go looking for a job he spends all his time trying to hook up with girls on myspace. You have to hold his hand to do anything! I bought him dance ballroom dance shoes that’s the only reason he followed through with dancing.

His goals are unrealistic, his whole life is woman he like a teenager!

I tell him get a job instead searching for your soul mate on myspace lol. You have a better chance of meeting someone in the real world any ways!

No girl going to want to date a 24 year old male with no car, job, education beyond the basics! I have to fill out his job applications for him he wont do anything himself! what do i do about him?
HE NOT MY BOYFRIEND I AM NOT DATING HIM!
i mean who not how! oppss
OKAY I DID NOT WANT TO ANNOUNCE HOW MY DANCE PARTNER WAS OVER THE INTERNET. EVERYONE WOULD NO WHO HE WAS IT IS MY COUSIN. I JUST SAID DANCE PARTNER TO SUGAR COAT IT BECAUSE HE GOES ON THIS SITE! I HAVE A LOT OF DANCE PARTNERS!

A question for Dr. Drew. This may have something to do with low self esteem, motivation, or something.

If I want to dance with a girl who is 2" taller than me, would dancing wearing shoes with lifts work for me?
cha cha cha-4

I am 5'8" and she is 5'10"-we are becoming really close and potentially might get to date-ballroom/swing/salsa dancing is something I would like to do with her or anyone else I date-thanks for the input!

I am 5'11" and a partner I dance with very frequently is about 5'8". It doesn't seem to matter, because he is a strong partner and we dance well together.

Is it accepted for men to wear shoe lifts for special occasions like going out ballroom dancing, weddings, etc
cha cha cha-2

The reason I ask is, I am 5'8", and I meet a lot of girls where I live, go out, and go to church who range from 5'6" to 6'0" tall-it's not a question of attracting them, that's not the problem. It's just that for special occasions with pictures, dancing, etc., this could be helpful maybe.

Yes!! In fact I think its prefereed if you are shorter, because your date will most likely have on heels. I am a tall girl and short guys do not bother me at all, but you're right, for pictures it would look better to be taller. You can also buy mens shoes with a built in life and a short heel.

Good dance wears for exclusive performances

Wearing the right kind of dress at the right occasion is very important. Be it a professional place, casual, or a party, but the clothes we wear at a particular occasion effects our personality the most. For example, we can’t wear a party dress in an office as it would just make us look weird and vice versa. And well, buying dresses is also not an easy task. We just have to find the perfect dress that suits us, and also suits the occasion as well. For purchasing of new clothes, most of us visit various shops, and try out the outfits available there. Sometimes, we get what we want, but sometimes, we are not satisfied with the limited variety that the showroom has. And we have to go to different shops at different places to get what we want. Even for buying different kinds of dresses, we may have to go to different shops.

For example, if one wants to buy party dresses...
