Girls Bridal Shoes

I am trying to find some shoes for my girls to wear, with the dress listed below. Also, what color should they wear? Our wedding is in March, and i have had some people tell me that clear peep toe shoes would be cute. whatcha think?

From experience, just tell them what color shoe you are looking for, and allow them to find shoes comfortable to them. No one will be looking at their feet anyways. I ended up buying all my girls shoes, all identical, and from that, let them pick out their own shoes. They will appreciate it.

I am getting married 10-25-08.. I dont know what type of shoe I should wear. I love open toed but, do you think it is too summer. spring like? The flower girls are wearing closed toed. I didnt know what I should waer? what do you think.. and anyone know where I can find cheap wedding shoes that DONT look like stripper heels.. LOl

I was watching a show call "Whose Wedding Is it Anyways" and this girl wedding dress cost 10,000$ dollars! I was thinking,what do u do with a dress like that after the wedding is over with?

I was watching "Wedding Central" and this girl spend 1,000$ on shoes to wear with her dress!
The shoes were beautiful ,they had crystals on them ,but is it worth it?


How much money did you spend on your dress? If you had 10k to spend on a dress would you? How much money did you spend on your Bridal Shoes ? Would you spend a 1,000$ on a pair of shoes if you had the money?

my dress was $3500 and shoes haha well i bought a pair for $75 then i fell in love with these other shoes (the ones i ended up wearing) for $15 i dont think i'd spend 10k on a dress i'd rather use that as part of a downpayment on a house and i've spent a grand on shoes before

EDIT:: the veil was $200 and i bought a wrap and purse for $500 and needless to say never used either, i bought the wrap because i got married in december in nevada and it was snowing but i never ended up using it the purse came with the wrap both matched the dress exacly compared to how much eveyone else spent i feel like a spoiled brat now :( lol

My brother is getting married. My husband, myself and my three young children are all in the bridal party. We have incurred a lot of expense purchasing dresses, shoes, tux's etc, not to mention gifts and other expenses associated with the wedding day. The sister of the bride is planning a shower at a restaurant and has now asked all the girls in the bridal party to pitch in towards the cost. Is this proper etiquette? I always thought the bride's family paid for the shower.

When I got married, my maid of honor threw me a bridal shower tea at a beautiful tea house. She paid for the whole thing herself (close to $300). When another friend of mine got married and I was her matron of honor, I threw her shower at a restaurant, and while others offered to help, I paid for the whole thing myself ($250). It's just something you do when you're the maid/matron of honor. Expecting someone else to chip-in without them offering first, is just wrong. Let this lady know that you are unable to contribute due to your entire family being in the wedding. She should be able to understand that! Good luck.
