Girls Brown Dress Shoes

Answers

Girls, do you like brown or black dress shoes on guys with laces?

Just wondering?

Black dress shoes w/ laces :) much much better.
One usually wears dress shoes with a suit, and brown shoes with a black suit NEVER goes well. So black is usually the safe bet.

girls help please ,what silky spring dress would look good on a guy with dark brown hair?

i want to spend a day dress as a girl to see whats its like ,the whole way .silky spring dress ,shoes makeup ,nails done ,perfume ,jewerly, lingerie ,hoseiry,Girls do you have any ideas what to wear to make me feel girlish or in touch with my feminine side.

Okay... I don't have any links, but this is what I have in mind:

I think a little lavender dress would look amazing.
Get a french manicure, or even paint your nails to match your dress.
Put in some gold rectangular earrings, if you have your ears pierced, with a matching gold rectangular-link bracelet on your left arm.
I am not sure about the perfume.
Oh, and white lace panties/bra will go good with it!
Depending on the style of the dress, your shoes will differ. Though get white shoes and a white bag if you can.
And for makeup, wear foundation, blush according to your skin tone, lip gloss according to your skin tone, brownpurpleish eyeliner, with gold & lavender eyeshadow. Brown mascara.
For your hair, it really depends on how it's cut. Though if it is short, maybe style it with some gel and put a white headband in to look more feminine.

Good luck!

Do girls like expensive shoes on a fella?

I don't mean trendy sneakers which I despise, but smart, dressy shoes. I have some black oxfords, black wingtips, dark brown Burfords (open laced oxford) and tobacco-colored semi-brogues. They all cost over AU$100 and the semi-brogues cost several hundred. Do girls like pricey dress shoes or have I wasted hundreds of dollars?

ps the most casual shoes I have are a pair of boat shoes which weren't cheap either. I'm 35 now and have to start dressing my age a bit!

They say that women can tell a lot about a guy by the shoes he wears. Personally I disagree. I tend to go for shoes between $40 and $70US. If you prefer shoes that are more expensive, than that should put you in good terms with the gold diggers LOL. But I think you can get away with a little cheaper than $100AU. And a lot of expensive shoes are mimicked by cheaper brands. So you can find some nice shoes at a lower price, depending on where you go. Here is a list of types of shoes that I think every guy should have. A nice pair of dress shoes. A pair of winter/fall or hiking boots. A pair of athletic sneakers. A pair of sandals. A nice pair of casual shoes. And a pair of junk shoes, and/or boots for working purposes. Being 35 doesn't mean that you have to give up wearing sneakers. If you go to the gym, or play certain sports, you're not going to want to wear expensive oxfords. You would look rather silly. And it wouldn't matter how much you spent on the shoes.

What type of shoes should I wear with this dress/to this dance -explaination inside-?

In a few months I have a school dance (not a prom), the first "wear a dress" one that I've gone to. According to my friend who is older than me and has gone to this dance before, girls really dress up......nice shoes, dress, make-up, up-dos, ect....but not as dressy as a prom. Well, I found a halter dress that goes just past the knee, has a small amount of barely noticable netting at the bottom, and is white with a floral (but not grandma floral) brown and salmon design, and a segment in the upper middle area is brown. The dress itself is fine, but what shoes should I wear with it? I found shoes here:

(it's the brown one that there isn't a picture of)

but I have a few questions. One are they reasonable/dressy enough for a dance? I can walk in them fine, and they match the dress. Also, what other shoes might you reccomend? heel height/style/ect
One More question:
What type of jewlery? Do halter dresses need necklaces? Bracelet? I'm pretty clueless.

Go with a shoe that is a t-strap with minimal embellishments...
Here are a couple of ideas (the prices are high, so these are just suggestions on style):

These are my favorite because they are taupe...which compliments brown and coral....

Heel height is up to you, but considering the dress is just below the knee...I would go with atleast a 2 inch heel. If you are really tall...go with a kitten heel. No more than an inch.

Jewelry? NO...and I mean NO necklace. Halter styles are designed to bring the focus to your chest area and up. Don't break up the "flow" by adorning your neck. Instead, some simple earrings that dangle would be great. Look for earrings that have a little sparkle, but not overkill. Try and find a pair that incorporate the coloring in the dress. Maybe some beads or amber stones. A nice dangle of about 2 inches would be plenty. Bracelets are where you can have fun! Mix it up with a few bangles.
Hope this helps!!

P.S....the shoes you picked out are really cute and go with it if you feel comfortable in them. I just wanted to give you a few alternatives. GOOD LUCK!
