Girls Dyeable Shoes

My daughter is about to be in a school pageant at the end of the month. She has been in the pageant for the past 2 years and worn very soft colored dresses. 1 a light aqua the other a light pink. This year she chose a hot pink dress. The dress is completely hot pink with no contrasting color.
In the past, she has worn clear cinderella type shoes, but this year we are having a hard time finding any shoes at all. I have looked online as well as the mall. She we stick to the clear shoe as it will match anything or could a black shoe (if all else fails) me worn? The dyeable shoe is not an option for us, as we live in an extremely rural area and have no stores that are able to do that service.

I'm trying to find ballet slippers that lace up for everyday wear, but the only thing that resembles what I'm looking for are pointe shoes. If any of you have seen, like, Phantom of the Opera (the movie), I'm looking for like the shoes that the girls wear on stage. I would prefer either black or dyeable ones. Can anyone help me?

Pointe shoes are harder canvas Ballet slippers with a 'block' on the end. Unless you have trained in pointe work, or have been doing ballet for several years, make sure you don't go up on pointe. I used to use soft canvas shoes with ribbons, that could be either pink or black, so you should be able to find some. Try a dancing shop, like Bloch.

Hi everyone. I'm getting married soon (very soon-starting to panic), and my dress is mostly red, with a little white around the bottom. My bridesmaids are wearing short white dresses with red sashes. I've bought them dyeable shoes and am wondering if I should leave them white or dye them to match their sashes. Have red pearl earrings and bracelets for them all, and I think the shoes in red would pull the whole look together. Some of the girls think the shoes would look more classy in the white though. Am stuck - don't want to dye shoes red only to find out i've made a mistake. Any help appreciated. P.S.Wedding too close to experiment with dying one pair, and ordering a replacement if we decide the white was better

i think you're right-the red shoes would pull the whole outfit together.
It's your day-do what you think is best and what you and your hubby to be prefer..

one is kind of ugly
two is too short
three is nice, but doesn't say bridesmaid to me
