Girls Red Dress Shoes

My Daughter and her cousin are having there pictures made as a Christmas Gift for there Granny and they will be wearing a Red Dress with a Red sparkly sweater over it. What color Dress shoes do they need? Also, what color dress socks?

I am a big fan of white tights or lacy socks with black patent leather shoes. That could just be personal preference but I think it is very appropriate and darling.

i'm a 15 yea old girl and for new years i was planning on wearing a black dress with black tights and red heels. do you think that would be okay for someone my age or would it be a little to inappropriate? also, would it be the wrong colors for new years?

I also had the idea of wearing a blue bubble dress with black lace tights and black ankle boots?

okay so this is my dress (in fiesta red) and i am thinking about wearing it back-braided (there is a picture under see how to wear it) but im open to opinions.

I am completely clueless for once about what to wear it with and how i should wear my hair which is slightly layered and almost down to my bra strap in the back with subtle side bangs- i thought about just a professional blow-out but then again i do kinda want to wear it up...

im also on a major budget- like as cheap as cheap gets

so what i need from you guys is pictures, descriptions, links, opinions, etc because this is my first prom AND my senior prom so i want to look amazing and steal the show even though im going date-less with a group of girls

Firstly, that dress is gorgeous!

I think a chignon would suit that dress beautifully, and its easy to do!

if you don't fancy a chignon, and want to go for the hair down look, why not keep it straight and down with a bit of a backcomb at the top?

I'm not certain if you've already accessorised, but if not a silver or black clutch bag would be great! I think you should wear either studs and a statement necklace or statement earrings without a necklace. Peep toe heels would also pull the whole look together, to finish off, smokey eyes would be fab!!!

It is strapless, plain, deep red, falls about mid-calf, A-line skirt, boned bodice. What style and color of shoes does anyone suggest? I am just now beginning to learn all the "girl" things at 24 years old....so these things I just don't know! :) :) HELP???

That looks like a sensational dress!!
Contrary to what everyone's advising - I'm thinking dark red shoes really would look cool with the outfit! (Just make sure they dont look like Dorothy's Ruby Red Shoes!!!)
Or maybe a really funky looking shoe to set off the classic cut of the dress!!
Or you can try jeweltoned shoes with it!
If you do wear black shoes- try to wear something which has a surprise element to them... strappy sandals and pointy shoes not withstanding!!
Of course they have to be heels - but make sure that that is at a height and style that's comfortable for you... it wouldnt do to fall down in a heap when you're trying to make an impression!! (Wedges are a great idea if u are new to heels by the way!!)
