Girls White Canvas Shoes

I have a dark soda stain on my white slip on keds and was wondering how to lift it. I sprayed it with shout and washed them last night, but it only lightened the stain a tiny amount. I've heard it's a bad idea to bleach canvas...but Im not sure why. If anyone has a suggestion to saving my shoes it would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry, but I was wondering if you could specify what soft scrub is, as I've never heard of it. Thanks :)

Try soft scrub, it was the only product I used when the kids were small and had that kind of sneakers. Use a scrub brush too.

Cleaning with bleach turns the fabric yellow over time.

I LOVE girls wearing Canvas Sneaker! It also called Deck/Anchor/Boat sneakers. Vans/Sperry/Keds and other - always look GREAT on pretty girls!!

my mom bought me (I'm 13 ,male) and my sister (she's 14) same shoes for indoor gym for school...but to me they look like girls'shoes !! WILL THEY MAKE FUN OF ME IF I WEAR THEM AT SCHOOL ??

ok,mom bought both of us (I'm 14 ,brother is 12) same canvas shoes,I really like them,...mom said she couldn't find dark colors (same style) for him so she bought him white ones,too...but brother is like he says style is not for boys,and also he keeps saying white is also for girls !!
but I've seen many guys wearing white sport shoes,and about style of shoes,I don't understand why he makes such a big deal,as they look really good on him,and also comfortable....

You're right, they are unisex type sneakers. Okay, I was going through my shoes I noticed I actually don't have many pairs. I only have;

Running shoes
Dunlops
A pair of white canvas shoes
black gladiator sandals
flat red and another pair black of sandals (cheapys)
Silver Snake skin flats (cheapys)
Gold Flats (cheapys)
Silver Buckle Flats
Black ballerina flats that you tie up, like ballet shoes
and black suede boots

and some of them are getting tights, I'm 14 and wanted to know some other kinds of shoes, I need some for school, casual and going out. I'm not very fussy with shoes. i would really like pictures of some shoes and some stores to go to. I live in Australia so make sure they have stores in Western Australia or deliver there.

All of them I bought when I was either 10 or 11 apart from like 2 pairs. Some of them are my sisters old ones and 2 pairs don't even fit and the black sandals are kind of broken

thats a lot of pairs of shoes!! i only have 4 pairs:

-black school shoes
-trainers
-school pe trainers
-blue and golld pumps

I bought a pair of canvas, slip on vans about 2 years ago. Not the kind with laces but just some girl slip on ones that were white with abunch of pink stars on them. I only wore them for a week at camp. I got them REALLY dirty, Like there's dirt stains all over them. I can wash most of the stains out. But I still don't want the stars on them. I just want them to be plain white slip ons. I read that bleaching could destroy the fabric and turn it yellow. But I also read that you can paint over them? I'd like to know what paint I should get to do this and how to go about doing it. Thank you.

If they're truly canvas, you can buy gesso paint which is essentially what they use on canvas' for painting in order to make them really white. You can buy it at any art store, and you may need several layers, but it's heavy duty stuff apt to stay on your shoes for a while. :) Make sure you use white gesso, and if you want, you can paint a layer of white acrylic or oil paint on top, just in case.

My point is, the gesso will ensure that those stars won't be visible when you paint over them. Good luck!
