Girls White Leather Shoes

I'm looking for a leather dye or polish that will restore the color on some tan leather dance shoes. The girls have worn all the tan color off the toes of their jazz shoes & now have white toes.
Any suggestions other than makeup foundation to cover the worn spots?

Hoping to find a leather dye....black leather dye from the discount store worked great on the black shoes...just need an alternative for the tan/taupe.

Girls Black Patent Leather Shoes Green Shorts Ass Shake big bootymeat

My daughter needs saddle shoes for a dance performance next weekend. Of over 20 girls, only two bought real saddle shoes. Most of the Moms are using black permanent marker on canvas Keds or something similar. My daughter has a pair of white leather Keds in almost new condition. I really don't want to permanently alter them for one occasion. Would black electrician's tape or maybe duct tape work? I could mask out the area I need blackened and cut the tape to fit, maybe? Would it come off? Maybe more importantly, would it stay on through a dance recital? Any other brilliant ideas out there? Our family can't afford to buy new shoes. If we alter these, she's stuck wearing them that way.

Black duct tape would hold better and be less likely to mark the shoes. I suggest you polish the Keds first, for an extra bit of protection for shoes.

Help!
For my graduation all the girls have to wear white head to toe and I need help finding a pair of white formal shoes!
What I had in mind was a rounded toe with a cork platform and heel, patent leather (or whatever is shiny lol). Heel height is not an issue but cost is, so anything for a resonable price will do!
