Girls Winter Shoes

I need new winter shoes, but aren't UGGs a little too immature for college? What do college girls wear these days?

I go to college and a shit-ton of girls wear uggs. it probably depends on where you live though. I would say uggs are probably the most worn footwear in the winter, but rainboots, slouchy boots, flats, tennis shoes are all popular too...

Someone of you usually wear shoes without socks in winter, when it's really cold? Which kind of shoes? Why do you love it? Tell me about your "frozen" experiences.

I usually wear boots when it's cold outside. Or I will wear flats with skin colored nylons (the ones that go up to your ankles) it helps with the cold.

I'm 17 and i live in NY. I never use socks with my flats, neither in winter, when it's really cold. Do you find that too crazy?

OMG THAT IS SO WIRED!!! .... (**COUGH**) i do too (**COUGH,COUGH**) lol in winter i wear flats without socks or ugs.

I'm in college, and I don't necessarily dress up for class, but I don't completely bum around either. Usually a cute shirt and jeans. It's going to get cold here in the mid-atlantic soon, and probably rainy, too. What types of shoes do you wear when the weather starts to get dreary and wintery?

PS: I walk A LOT during the day, so no heels.

Walking shoes, tennis shoes, flat "princess" style shoes, and shoes like those.

Flat boots would be nice too. I should get a pair of those.

I'm tired of wearing my ugg boots alllll winter, they don't match everything and they are getting boring. I also know you can wear flats, but what about when it is really cold? I just need ideas for what to wear to school!
oh yeah and i live in the north east, therefore, no flip flops! haha
ok so im considering moccasins, but what stores can you get the fuzzy comfy ones at ( not UGG!! not $100)

Try a different style of boots.
Maybe some with a small heel?
I agree though, Uggs are boring, and rather ugly. The name even says "Ugg".
I mainly wear ballet flats all winter since I live in the south.
You could also try some colorful converse.
Just go shopping, I'm sure you'll find something you'll like :)
