Girls Wrestling Shoes

i am 14 and i bought a pair of black wrestling shoes. is it weird if i were them? like with jeans? they fit good and stuff but i dont know if its to... i dont want to offend anyone... but is it to "black girl style"? i dont mean to offend anyone. i just wanna know.

Wrestling shoes on girls was all the rage back in the 80's...check out some of the 80's "date flicks"...girls frequently wore wrestling shoes.

They are light. Comfortable. And, pretty basic.

Sadly, what those movies didn't show is the knee surgeries those girls needed 20 years later!

I am not sure if they are actual wrestling shoes... I am a girl wrestler and I have been dieing for GIRLY shoes! and I found them but IDK if they are real ones they say greco and all but I read the comments on the page and people are wearing them for normal shoes!

if you are wrestling then barefoot is always the best way. My wife only wrestles barefoot in her matches

im going to join wrestling at my school and i was looking on the internet for shoes but they all say men. do girls wear men wrestling shoes? if so what size would i be if im a 9-1/2 [10] ish in women? and any tips on how to get good, bcuz im barley going to join. oh and websites of were to get shoes. thanks!

So, I've been known to wear soccer cleats, uniform skirts, and other "odd" items as regular wear to school, but I'm not sure if I'm pushing it on this one. I bought some Asics shoes, not realizing they were wrestling shoes cause I wanted that Nike look where the shoes go up to your ankle, but now that I know they're wrestling shoes, I'm not sure if it's still okay for me to wear them... but they fit and they're cute! Let me know you're opinion!

Absolutely! I have seen lots of girls do that. Some people even wear cleats because they are cute. As long as you coordinate them well, it's ok. You'll be unique by doing this.
