Bridesmaids:Tea length dresses in Navy Blue, Gold Shoes.
Bridesmaids' Bouquets: Roses, Hydrangeas and Orchids in Yellow.

Flower Girl: White Dress, Navy Blue Sash and Navy Blue bow in her hair.
Flowers: A wicker basket with yellow roses

Bride (Me): White roses, orchids, and gardenia with a few yellow roses and orchids. scattered in.

(Handsome) Groom: Black tux, white vest and tie. White rose boutonnière.
Groomsmen: Black tux, black vest and tie. Yellow rose boutonnière.
Ring Bearer: Black tux, black bow tie. Yellow rose boutonnière.

Reception centerpieces (haven't discussed with florist yet): Probably white tablecloths, with a table runner, then yellow centerpieces and votive candles. But I also LOVE the blue glass vases from Ikea... Ideas help please?!

Does the rest sound okay?

Put your yellow flower in the blue vases, blue and yellow go together very well and you can use organza table throws for differenc looks.

My daughter's wedding dress is Ivory and jewelry is gold. It is a stunning look. The flower girl will be wearing an Ivory dress and crown in gold. My daughter is having a hard time choosing a shoe color for her bridesmaids. Their dresses are Apple Red. Some say they should wear black shoes. The problem is, what color of jewelry should they wear, since her dress is ivory w/gold jewelry. Hope you can help!

I can't post a picture of the dress. But it has dark purple flowers with small black vines and it's on a white background but since there are so many flowers the white part just looks like dots. I tried on black shoes with it but it was too much black. I tried silver and gold and they both look good but kind of weird so I don't know which one to pick. Most of the girls who wore purple dresses last year (to Homecoming) wore gold shoes but since this dress has more black/white in it I was thinking maybe silver. They both look the same - kind of boring. I don't know. What do you think? Silver or gold?

The first line can not be cut down. Our rings we thought if we bought him a basic gold band and me the ring that does not match my ring we could cut out about $400.00 but I am in tears over that. Not because of my ring but because of his. I want to give him the ring he is going to wear his whole life. NOT a cheap ring we will replace when we can afford it.

The photographer. I have called 25 photographers in the area and that is the BEST deal I can find.

Flowers. That is JUST the boquets and rose petals for the walkway and flower girl. Thats it. I also can not find a better price.

Because our wedding party is small there is NO getting around the cost of the gooms suit.

HELP! I have been crying over this since last night. We can not come up with the extra money and there is not ANYONE who can help us with the funds.
I forgot to add. This is for guest count of 40 people.
The dress is BAD it has dog hair and it is dirty. There are no rips or tears or stains just dirt. I HAS to be cleaned.
I know everyone keeps saying this is expensive for a minister and I AGREE! However we are getting married in Napa CA. I have called over 20 ministers and I can NOT find one cheaper! He is 375.00+gratuity

I actually just started calling local churches and quit looking at the list the wedding site gave me and booked a minister at 120.00 today and that includes the rehersal and this pastor was wonderful! I also loved the costco flower idea. I had no clue they did that! I found a photographer through the church and he is less than 1/2 the price of the other guy and his website is filled with beautiful photos he has done. So that saved money there too. Also my future mil is a very crafty lady and she is going to make the pillow, flower girl basket and fabric cover a little photo album to match as a small gift to us (she is on disability so can't afford much). I will just go with earrings and search e-bay tonight. I am so glad I posted and feel so much better. Thank you so so so much!

-Flowers. Yes, you can find a better price. Order your flowers at your local COSTCO> If you have a memebership or know some one that has a membership, you can save. Most of their wedding packages are around $400 and they have corsages, bridal bouquet, BM bouquet, boutuniers and centerpieces arranged and ready to go:

-Guest book, pillow and basket. You do NOT need those items. No one ever looks at the guest book. Avoid that expense, it;s not really necesary. Pillow is not needed, the Best man can hold the rings for you, As fas as the baskets, borrow those or mak ethem yourself and save.

- Bridal jewelry. The new trend is to have NO jewelry. You can use/borrow a pair of earring that you already have. Necklaces are really not used anymore. Save there.

-Hair. DYI. Yes, it;s nice having some one do it for you, but you or a trusty friend can easily help you. My Maid of honor helped me with my hair and everyone thought that I spend hundreded of dollars. Also, check if there is a local cosmetology school in your area, Their prices are lower.

-Favors. You can easily do without. Place some wrapped candy on the tables, and that would do. Save.

-Head table decor. No one cares or notices it. If you must, use rose petals that will be enough.

Now, have you budgeted for wedding cake, invitations, postage???

EDIT: Wedding dress. If the alterations cost more than the dirty dress, then it's not worth it. $400 is too much for a dress that it's used, dirty and doesn't fit. You can buy a dress that will fit you, new and clean for under $200. Check the david's bridal $99 gown sale. I bought mine online from Davids and it fit me perfectly, no alterations needed.
