My daughter requires a 3.5 wide shoe, she is a little over a year old and walking but I can't afford to buy her shoes that cost 50.00 and she will out grow them. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions where I can find reasonably priced shoes that do not cost so much?

Because my two younger sons have wide feet we are forced to have to buy their shoes from Stride Rite and it does get pricey. Fortunately my sister lives near a Stride Rite outlet and buys their shoes $20-30 less than the asking price in the store. You can also buy wide shoes off of ebay.

I am donating clothes for a 12 year old girl and the list says she wears size 7 infant shoes. That seems...small to me. Could this be right?

It's probably a misprint, she probably wears size 7 child's shoes, but even then she would have small feet for a child her age. I would verify it first.

I trying to find some soft shoes for my son to wear, just to keep his feet covered at daycare. Retailers have rows and rows of shoes for infant and toddler girls, but only have 2 or 3 choices if any for boys.

Stride rite is a must for all young children. Kids at this age need special shoes to help form their feet right. Stride Rite has a awsome selection for little toddler boys.

I'm just confused at the description and want to buy a 9 for my 4 year old girl, but "big girl" shoes don't seem to have size 9's and the only place I see a 9 is infant/toddler -- but 4 years isn't a toddler is it? Please clear this up for me! Thanks!

My daughter is three and she is a size nine. They still wear infant/toddler shoes.
