Can I wear black to a wedding?

Well first off I'm a 13 year old girl. The wedding is actually going to be pakistani but will be held in a hall/resturaunt place. The color of my outfit is a classic silky black, with small little red and silverish flowers on it. I'll be wearing these silver high heels too. The shoes look similar to this --> http://www.amazon.com/Nina-Violeta-Silve r-high-heels/dp/B003QA58VM
Thanks for your answers!

Welcome to Kingston-James Preparatory Acadaemy, the most prestigious boarding school in the country. It has a secret society, a hidden room, and a secret that has weighed down on the school for years. Enter four new girls ready to stir up KJPA's social life, and discover the hidden room and its secret.

Alayna Monteaire-wants to hurt her parents when they announce that they are sending her too a boarding school halfway across the country. But when she arrives, she sees that life there wouldn't be so bad. With her honey-blonde hair and clear blue eyes, she already has the boys melting all over her shoes. But one person keeps standing in her way. How does the famous saying go? You want a war, I'll give you a war.

Jade Collins- loves to gossip, gossip, and gossip. This brown-skinned beauty can't wait to get to KJPA and start a whole new notebook of gossip. When she gets there, she discover that the only that she can gossip about is how bad the girls there dress. I mean, come on. Straight-legged jeans? You have got to be kidding me. She gives up the gossiping and turns to teaching those girls some fashion sense. And is that Ryan Harts over there?

Nina Ramirez- has put a whole new meaning to gossip. She is the president of Gossipville. She knows everything about everyone, and will never hesitate to use her knowledge of your deepest, darkest secret against you. She comes to Kingston-James with one thing on her mind and one thing only. And that is to discover the hidden room and uncover its secret.

Marielle Audreit- This beauty transplant is straight from France. She speaks the Queens English and your first thought about her is "darling". She is the true meaning of looks can be decieving. She will run you away and make you want to curse the day you were born. Her famous saying? Excuse my French.

Hon, for a chick-lit book I think they are great! I l really like how you are very specific with there look's, personality, and even there favorite sayings. Very good.
Keep up the great work!

Im writing a story is this any good?

Do you guys ever know how to be quiet!” yelled Cassaundra. Her little brothers were yelling, and running up and down the hallway, with a couple of their friends. They just ignored her; she rolled her eyes, and let her sister take charge.
Boys if your gunna yell like that, GO outside!” Shouted Kali.
“Fine!” Yelled her younger brother, Caleb.
“Why are your sisters so bossy?” asked Caleb’s friend.
Cassaundra was 14 years old; she lived in a 3-story house, with 2 older sisters, 2 younger brothers, and Kali, her older sister that was in college, and her older brother that was Nina’s twin names Ryan. She had light dirty blonde hair, that was stringy, and it didn’t curl very well. She was just skin, bone, and blood (Or in other words, really skinny.) She always loved to laugh, and was funny. She was easily angered. And recently God had been opening her eyes, and making her see inside herself, seeing all the things that were wrong in her life. But she normally just forgot about the habit she was trying to break, and would go back to her usual sinful self. She was really good at drawing murals. She normally just drew murals of landscapes, on walls and on big pieces of paper; her wall is covered in murals. Sometimes if their really good she can sell them, and get a quite a big sum of money, but all of it goes into college funds. On her last 6 murals she sold all 6 of them each for $200.00 dollars so she got $1200.00 and she gave it all to her sister, for her sweet 16 that was coming up.
The noise quieted down when the boys went outside, through the back door.
At the sound of the door, Tori came out of her room running into the living room “Is Isabella, and the rest of them here yet?” She asked. She rushed through the living room, toward the front door, looking anxiously for her friends. She was dressed in short white dress that stopped in between her thigh, and knee. It had a big light pink bow and a light pink lace underneath with white wedges for her shoes. Her shoes had a light pink ribbon coming up her leg like ballerina’s shoes. Her hair was so curly and wavy, on top of her head, was a silver diamond crown and in opal stones it said “16”
Tori was turned 16 a couple days back, she was probably the most spoiled of the girls because she and her dad talked a lot, and he seemed to always have room for her. She didn’t act spoiled, and she wasn’t a brat, or anything. She was the 4th child of Miano family. She was really out going, and had a good sense of style; she always had something to laugh about. She had blonde hair, like her daddy, but had natural brown highlights with green eyes. She was fairly skinny. She could sing, draw, and write stories extremely well.
“Oh Tori, that is so cute! How did you get mom to buy that? It must have cost a fortune!” Kali exclaimed while admiring Tori’s outfit.
“Well I had a little help.” Answered Tori grinning ear to ear, while pointing at Cassaundra.
“What did you do? Asked Kali questioning her, with pride in her eye.
“Oh I sold 6 of my murals, and got her $12,000.00 just for her party!!” Cassaundra exclaimed, very happy about her great deed.
“Oh my Word, that’s really cute!” exclaimed their other sister, Michele, even though Michele wasn’t girly, she knew cute when she saw it. The girls father came out because he heard Tori was finished getting ready, and he wanted a picture of his little princess.
“Um, what are you wearing?” He asked her as he saw how short it was, and how revealing it was.
“My dress daddy, don’t you like it?” Tori responded with an innocent look, while her sisters watched close by ready to jump in at any moment to save her.
“It’s to short angel, and to reveling.” He said this time with a strict look on his face.
“But we paid for it daddy!” she said about to cry.
“How much was it?” he asked softening as he heard her tears.
“Only $100.00 daddy!” She said getting deeper in tears.
“What!” He shouted, “$100.00 dollars??” he yelled. “”We don’t have a money tree in our backyard! Where do you expect me to get the money from!” he yelled very angry.
“I know we don’t have a money tree daddy, Cassaundra sold 6 of her Murals, and gave me the money for my sweet 16 party.” She exclaimed while wiping away tears.
“Oh, well that makes a difference, how much money did you give her, Cassie?” He asked Cassaundra slowly calming down.

I'm not sure what the story is. A story is essentially this: "Problem. Journey to a solution." There has to be a plot, which involves a problem, and the journey to a solution (even if there isn't one in the end.)

Your story has too much description. Nobody wants to read a huge description of a random character they haven't even had a chance to care about yet. Think about it - what would you do if I, a perfect stranger, sat down next to you on a park bench and said "I have a friend named Margie. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and she's very funny. She likes to paint pictures, and sold them for $200, and she has a sunny disposition..." and so on? You would get bored quickly and think I was crazy for imagining that you would care about some chick named Margie. It's the same in stories.

Also, there's nothing interesting happening. Just like nobody cares about how much money a random character got paid for painting random murals, nobody cares about sisters yelling at bratty little brothers or a brief squabble between a father and a daughter.

Maybe if this story was about the father who didn't know his daughter had paid for her dress with her own money. So he made a deal with the devil to get the money to feed his family. But when he finds out that the girl paid with her own money, he still has to give his soul to the Devil! And it's about the mural-painting chick who loves God who's trying to save her Dad from the Devil. THAT's a story.

  • New Collections of Nina Dolcetti Shoes - Best Girls' Shoes

Elisalex de Castro Peake and I are lying on her living room floor as our two-year-olds fluctuate dramatically between love and war. As I broker a temporary truce Elisalex (Nina is her family nickname, Dolcetti’ her grandmother’s maiden name), lays out a shoe-shaped obstacle course for the kids -and a circle of temptation for me. I’ll be honest – I used to own a LOT of shoes. They’ve all found happy homes between girlfriends, godchildren and jumble sales, but now I wish I’d sent them round to Nina to cut up and make anew. In her makeshift ‘salon’, I was seduced by the tan boot with sexy, split-back lace-up ankle detailing, the powerful black Cosmos which is basically the boot I’ve been wanting forever, and even the pretty two-tone flats (and I don’t wear flats).

The diverse inspirations for her On Cloud Nina autumn/winter 2010-11 collection include Mughal architecture, a V&A Maharaja exhibition and Byzantine mosaics. The fantastical made practical. These are the kind of shoes that stop strangers on the street – and all my girlfriends want her number.
