The little girl gets taken from her school and muredered and the murder was the school grounds kepper or something. He's done it more than once but only when it's gonna rain so all the evidence is washed away, but i think it's 10 years later it didn't rain and they caught him. The mother goes to his trial and then when he is sentenced she kills herself to be with her daughter. It's really sad. Can you please help me?

If she wears girlish clothes, would it be too tom-boyish? And does wearing red shoes mean something? Is it somehting only guys can do?

I don't have a daughter... the freshman girl is me.

I think worrying about what high school kids will think of you is a huge mistake. Do whatever you want.

is she dorothy from wizard of oz??

Well Dorothy from Wizard of Oz wore red (ruby) slippers, but there is a Hans Anderson story called the Red shoes too. Inthat the girl has a pair of enchanted red dancing shoes, that dont stop dancing, and she has to have a woodsman hack her feet off...then she dies. That Hans he had a great sense of humour (his female protagonists die in The Little Mermaid (not quite the Disney ending) and the Little Match Girl too.
