A School Bags

I live in Sydney, and right now i can't find much in the way of a school backpack (medium size) Roxy and Billabong fall straight apart, Kathmandu go ratty and look lame, the real Hello Kitty is too expensive and the fake is crap.

Does anyone know where to find any good bags for reasonable prices that don't fall apart!? Thanks.

Be thankful you're allowed to bring any backpack you're allowed to school... I live in AUSTRALIA too, but I go to a private school the bag pretty much has to be a school one =[

I thought the Roxy and Billabong bags are really good?!
I've got two Roxy ones and I've put so much in them, and they are still in great condition.

Hmm, I'm not so sure... try Myer and Kmart.

Do their school bags look different than the ones in the US? I've heard that they have a different style. Like, high school bags? Any pictures of them you could show me? Anywhere I could buy one?

In japan they definitely have cooler looking backpacks, and there wayyy expensive here and really hard to find, there really unique too.

Front top zipper pocket: 10.5" H x 10" W
Padded rear panel and adjustable shoulder straps for wearing comfort.

I need a bag for school that will carry my books as well as my computer. A lot of the bags I've found are either extremely utilitarian looking (ugly), or really not intended to carry that much weight. Is there a happy medium?
I live in the great Pacific Northwest--Oregon. Everywhere I've looked has had only like 3-5 bags to choose from.

You did not say where you live, but if you have a Kohl's around you, I bet they will have exactly what you are looking for.

I found a real cool black leather one there that holds my lap top and my files (easily over 25 pounds of crap), it looks great, not hard on the shoulder and has dividers in it so I can easily find what I am looking for.

I don't know if they have a specific name. They have wheels, look like luggage bags but they are school bags. I am contemplating getting one because I have to carry lots of textbooks and a laptop for college, and within my second week of college I pulled a muscle in my back which was very painful.

What are your thoughts on these bags? All my friends said they are geeky and stupid but I just don't know.. is it better just to look geeky to be comftorable?

Go for comfort. Who cares what anyone else thinks? I use one of those bags myself, as do many other students at my college.

All the girls at my school get all surf brand bags eg billabong, roxy , ripcurl and so on. Anyway I need a new one because I had my old one for 2 years it was a rusty bag. Should I spend about 50$ to buy another one like it or should I just get any old one because its just a bag.

Get a cute one because you do have to carry it every single day, but there is no reason to spend so much on a brand name one..theres tons of cute backpacks that you can get for way cheaper than 50$
