I've spent the whole day trying to find a good school bag, but it seemed the only ones available were either too young, or too old (I'm 16)
And I don't want to be like one of those lame scene kids who have Barbie bags, nor do I want to have a bag that has obnoxious surf slander all over it (I live in Australia).
So what's a fashionable bag, and where can I get it?

I am 16 too and I am from Australia too LOL. I also spent the whole day looking for a fashionable school bag. I ended up buying a billabong bag, it was about $60.00, but it has a simple design, but still looks cool. If I were you I would just buy like a billabong or roxy bag and just keep with a simple design, nothing to over the top

I'm 13, but I don't act like it at all.

I have an imaginary friend, his name is Aaron Lamington and we climb trees together. I love to dress up and I still have tea parties with all 48 of my soft toys. I play imaginary games, like I make mud pies and sell them in a pretend shop. I still watch all those kiddie shows like Charlie and Lola (my favourite show) and I love toys and stuff like Barbie. My school bag is a Dora Explorer one. I still tell everyone I'm a kid, and I hate being called a 'teenager'.

Oh and, I'm not dumb, I get Honour Awards all the time. Do you think I have some sort of mental problem? Or maybe I just refuse to grow up... My childhood was pretty lousy. What do you think?

Well could be a form of infantilism possibly? it is a relatively common fetish. The child shows could almost be paraphilic. There are verying degrees of Paraphilic infantilism.

Not a lot of people in my high school have backpacks, they have messenger bags or totes, but I like backpacks because they are easier to carry and I can fit more things into them...but someone told me that I will get made fun of if I have a backpack in high school..I mean it's not like I'll have a pink plastic barbie backpack, just a plain colored JanSport one.... your thoughts??

You need to think about you and your comfort. Tote bags are difficult to carry (especially heavy ones filled with all those books) and will end up hurting your back/shoulder. Backpacks are much easier, and you're right, you can carry much more stuff in them. Use both straps to protect your back.

By the way, Jansports are cool, and excellent quality. I used to collect cool patches (from places like Spencer's and Hot Topic) and by the end of the year, my backpack was covered with them. I loved it.
