Book Bags In School

im 13 almost 14.. and live in NJ . Im not that girly, and im looking really for converse, and vans style bags, but im open to anything, really. I just dont know what school bag to get!

We have a metal detector already so whats the use of clear . What are some other reasons on why we should not be forced to use these book bags. What are some persuasive reasons that will persuade adults that there is no use for clear book bags.

We shouldn't be forced to use clear bags because it takes away your privacy. It can embarrass some people say if they have feminine hygiene products in their bag. Also, burglaries might be more likely to happen if people can see your things.

I'm just wondering what other people out there have in there school bags, preferably girls. :)
I know it's summer. You can answer with your bag from last year, or what you're planning for this year.

Go into as much detail as possible!
Include things like:
-what kind of bag
-brands
-colors
-not only school stuff! also include stuff like makeup, food, etc.
-how you decorate your binder
-all taht good stuff

this was in 11th grade (last year)

my purse was turquoise and it was from pacsun
I had a hello kitty binder, so no decorating lol! -i carried this since it looked all bulgy in my purse
Lots of spiral notebooks like 4 -i carried this since it looked all bulgy in my purse
1 folder -i carried this since it looked all bulgy in my purse
coin purse that i would use for money, and if i had my period, to store pads l0l
cell phone
sunscreen
hand sanitizer
snacks (from lunch, like sun chips or cheeze itz)
i wouldnt carry any makeup unless i didnt have time to apply liquid eyeliner or mascara in the morning! or if i had to go somewhere afterwards like a date or shopping aha...
oh and a pencil pouch with markers, pens, mechanical pencils, an eraser, and highlighters!

I'm in a hurry to find a new school book bag for a girl that is stylish and unique and also sold at a decent price. It needs to carry lots of binders as well so the size should be big. Anyone know any stores or websites that sell lots of book bags? Thanxxx

Fossil has some really great bags. I got a messenger bag that has lasted a long time. It works great for school.
