Where can I find some cool school bags for teen girls?
late afternoon

I want a cool school bag, any colour I don't want handbags and stuff like that. I don't want to decorate my own bag or anything like that either.
I want an across the body bag or a bag with a long strap.
Any suggestions of websites or stores would be really helpful.
Thanxx everyone!!!

what kind of bags do grade 7 middle school girls bring to school and do they bring purses?
237 / 365 - 6 years

the question pretty much says it all but i like the jansport bags and messenger bags and some backpacks but it depends on the design and i was wondering do they still bring those to school or do they bring those totes now? and do they bring lunch boxes too or do they just go out for lunch or buy at the cafeteria? Thanx!! :)

P.S. Please send me links to the bags you would bring. thanx

Girls really don't use backpacks (most of the time). They use those totes. I see a lot of Victorias Secret PINK bags, Vera Bradley, Juicy Couture, Hollister and Abercrombie. Most people eat at the cafeteria but if your health consious like me, than bring a paperbag lunch. Or get a simple lunch box...something like these---- *just examples not links*

Why do middle school girls wear bags and makeup to school?
Young girl holds purchases and joyfully laughs

I'm in 7th grade and in the beginning of the year, few girls wore designer bags to school instead of backpacks. At the end of the year, 90% of them wore bags! I feel like the only one with a backpack. All popular girls wear them, and some average girls wear them with their posh clothing and huge coach bags swinging on their shoulders. They act like there walking on a Hollywood red carpet and the paparazzi are snapping photos of them to be on People Magazine. It's just school! They say they wear it because it's cute, but more than half of the girls are probably wearing it because everyone else is. Don't their shoulders ache? Since there young, won't they have back and shoulder problems in their 20's? I feel like backpacks are better because the weight is equal on both of your shoulders, especially since it's middle school and you carry more things.

Two days ago, these three "posh" girls came up to me and said, "You look like a turtle in that backpack of yours." They said 'backpack' as if it were an epidemic. Then they told me that I needed Vans shoes instead of my Sketchers sneakers. They asked me why my clothes come from the Children's Place, and told me to stop wearing my hair in pigtails and wearing a bow on my head because it makes me look like a first grader. And lastly, that I should carry makeup. So I felt small, like a little baby. And today was the last day of school, and they said that next year in eighth grade, I should come back wearing Hollister and Abercrombie and Aero.
I told them I was going to be myself, and not wear what other people are wearing. And they said that's the point of school! What's wrong with these girls? I swear, some of them apply makeup like 6 times in a school day! And they look old, like 40! And it's hard to find a true friend because all the nice girls seem to disapear in the pressures of middle school.

Hey Mimi,

im in 9th grade so im not too much older than you. Yes, this happens at a lot of middle schools. Just be yourself and dont worry too much about what other people think. I know its cliche and hard but trust me, what you do now in middle school is not gonna matter in a few years. No one is gonna care that they wore "ambercrombie" and "Vans" and "Coach Purses" . Its all materialistic and they are trying to grow up too fast, Enjoy your childhood. Keep wearing Sketchers, cause they are comfy. Vans hurt your feet. Keep wearing a backpack because its healthier for your back.

in 7th grade i wore bags and makeup. I wish i would have waited til high school to do that. Im in 9th grade now and i wear backpacks and i dont wear designer stuff! Because designer things get "out of style" real fast and you feel like you need to buy more designer things. Just because i wear backpacks and not designer stuff doesnt meannn a darn thing! i still have friends and people would love me the same if i wore rags or if i wore designer clothes. Clothes dont define you. You define yourself..

Just be yourself and grow up on your own terms. Dont let PEER PRESSURE get the best of you. Thats how you get real true friends, and a good education.

good luck ! hope this helps!

p.s. you are probably 10x prettier than those girls even when they have 500 pounds of makeup on.
plus, you are prettier on the inside. !

Why do high school girls only like douche bags?
Kids Walking To School In Winter

it doesn't make any sense they guys are jerks to the girls, but the girls like it. just because girls put douches in them it doesn't mean that they have to be so cool with douches on the outside.
no one has my girl, i've never been rejected

do girls in high school carry around backpacks or bags?
My School AES High School at wadala

im going into high school this year and im wondering if most girls in high school carry around tote bags, or back packs? I know the answer is most likely bags, but im not sure what kind/style. If anyone can find a bag at something like forever 21 or somewhere else that is cute and fits the subject, that would be great. Thank you!

Most girls I know either bring a backpack, a tote bag,or a big purse.

Tote bags are better because they look cuter with outfits, and you dont have to worry about serious back pain from carrying around a 20 pound back pack.

Most of the girls I see who dont are Seniors who already have their credits.

140 students from Nanyang Girls’ High School began the week carrying brand-new Apple iPads in their school bags, given not by their parents but by their school.

Touted as “one of the first schools in Singapore to use iPad for lessons”, the pilot project, codenamed P21C² (Prototype 21st Century Class), aims to boost student engagement and their interest in learning, and at the same time keep up with today’s technologically-advanced society.

Students from two Secondary 1 classes and two Secondary 3 classes are involved in this programme, and iPads are used in the teaching of all subjects in these classes, gradually replacing the conventional pen-and-paper learning environment.

Principal Mdm Heng Boey Hong thinks it is not too early to start on this project as we embark on the second decade of the new millennium.

“In a 21st century world, knowledge is no longer simply disseminated, but co-created. Commonly referred to as ‘digital natives’, our present generation of students should be given a technology-enabled environment that meets their learning style,” she said.
