I got a Jonas Brothers messenger bag but now Im really scared?

ok i was checking out a site wikiHow something like that. and it said how to get prepared for middle school?
and i clicked..but actually im entering the 8 th grade..and in NY i got this black jonas brother messenger bag and im taking it to school..but i read this in that site.

4- NEVER EVER EVER EVER get a backpack with a cartoon character or TV show on it. Ever. (Such as High School Musical or Spongebob or Hannah Montana or even Camp Rock.) If you really want a Jonas Brothers backpack, get some buttons and put them on your backpack.

So..why is that a NEVER DO thing for school?

Will people make fun of me?
Or think im immature.?

most of the girls in my school are crazy for the jonas brothers..but where i live we dont get stuff of them and i got this bag in NY so will they think im immature or make fun of me?
