High School Musical Party Bags

my 9 yr old daughter is having a high school musical party on the 24th of this month i purchased the cups, napkins, plates, goody bags, already online. i also got some pom poms they are red and white mixed to place on the table around her cake but what are some other ideas you all may have or if any one has done a h.s.m. party before let me know how yours went and ideas you did, we are planning to have around 16 kids! and also we are doing a campfire with winnie and marshmellow roast after the main party!
also i was wondering would it be neat to make a megaphone shaped bday cake and where could i find a pan like that or any ideas how to make one?

Make sure you have all the music from both the movies to play during the party. Maybe have a dancing competition or karaoke. You might want to split them into two groups and have a trivia competition or a 'guess that song' where you play a few seconds of a song from the movie and they guess what it is for points. I think you can find trivia questions on their website, under one of the games? If they are still into colouring in, print out some sheets and it will keep them occupied for a while.

I am throwing a High School Musical get together, there will be about 6 or 7 girls there between the ages of 11 and 14. I think Im going to serve fondue, chocolate and strawberry. The party starts around 6 but theres a problem, What else? should I make party bags? hw should I decorate? Should I even decorate? What should we do before the premier?

I think that what you have will be enough. It's not like a birthday party or anything, so don't go overboard. But you could most definatley have some fun! Before the premire, maybe you guys could just talk or do whatever you guys do when your together. Because I know that when you over-plan something, it's not very fun as when you just go with the flow. Hope I helped!

I need some suggestions...Ok my daughter's birthday party is about two weeks away and it's a HSM theme. I need some help with decoration ideas, game ideas and possibly food suggestions. I'm making the invites myself so far the ones my daughter has approved look like tickets to the show. I'm in the process of making VIP passes for her friends she is inviting to the slumber party.I found some ideas online for games and food I'm thinking of doin my kitchen up like a school cafeteria or pack a bunch of brown bag lunches ( the movie is set at school afterall)I was thinking if I do the buffet bit I may even make up school lunch menus to go with the invites. I'm looking for game ideas mostly. My daughter has the dance one and the DVD board game. Her friend has the karaoke for HSM her mom may send that with her. The site I have said to buy some fake cell phones and hide them and have the girls find them. Anyone else have suggestion food, game, or decoration wise?
I don't want to hear you think the movie is gay or any comments like that. My daughter is only 8 and loves it that's what matters. I love to make my kids birthdays special and I'm just asking for a little help doing that.

Play the movie with the sing along lyrics on the bottom of the screen.

If you are doing HSM2 you could give a "Star Dazzle" award to the best singer.

They could do Sharpay makeovers.

Toy microphones might be a good idea for party favors. Or little balls that look like basketballs.

Make a "yearbook" to remember the party. They could glue pictures of each other into it and sign each other's books, etc.

You could do dance lessons to teach one of the dances from the movie

Buy red and white craft foam and make Wildcats Pennants to take home. Let the girls cut out stars and letters or you could probably find pre-cut letters and shapes at the craft store.

Pop popcorn, buy the movie sized boxes of candy for snacks.

i have never ever done a party before. so the reason why i am asking for your help is for 2 question's.1st one is what kind of stuff should i put in the quest party bags?2nd is what kind of music do you think i should play at the party? i have already got high school musical 2 and 3 downloaded, so i am wondering what other kind of kid's music i could download for 5yrs old!!

*HSM candy cains! You can find them at the grocery store.
*A pack of bendy pencils

An easy way to go is to go to the dollar store and tell each kid to pick something out of a box. Things like leggos (BOY) or candy ligloss pack (GIRLS) would so just fine!
