My School Bags

I need a bag for school that will carry my books as well as my computer. A lot of the bags I've found are either extremely utilitarian looking (ugly), or really not intended to carry that much weight. Is there a happy medium?
I live in the great Pacific Northwest--Oregon. Everywhere I've looked has had only like 3-5 bags to choose from.

You did not say where you live, but if you have a Kohl's around you, I bet they will have exactly what you are looking for.

I found a real cool black leather one there that holds my lap top and my files (easily over 25 pounds of crap), it looks great, not hard on the shoulder and has dividers in it so I can easily find what I am looking for.

I don't know if they have a specific name. They have wheels, look like luggage bags but they are school bags. I am contemplating getting one because I have to carry lots of textbooks and a laptop for college, and within my second week of college I pulled a muscle in my back which was very painful.

What are your thoughts on these bags? All my friends said they are geeky and stupid but I just don't know.. is it better just to look geeky to be comftorable?

Go for comfort. Who cares what anyone else thinks? I use one of those bags myself, as do many other students at my college.

All the girls at my school get all surf brand bags eg billabong, roxy , ripcurl and so on. Anyway I need a new one because I had my old one for 2 years it was a rusty bag. Should I spend about 50$ to buy another one like it or should I just get any old one because its just a bag.

Get a cute one because you do have to carry it every single day, but there is no reason to spend so much on a brand name one..theres tons of cute backpacks that you can get for way cheaper than 50$

I wana get a snake but my dad would flip and I remeber my dads friend owned a snake before and kept it in a gear bag and it was well healthy so Im wondering is it possible??And if it is what kind of snake will I need to get????I dont care about size the bigger the better!

I dont mean carryin it around in a bag like puttin it in a bag and leaving it in a safe place home!

How would you like to live in a school bag? It would eventually die. Snakes need water and a heat source. Without these things they would eventually die. Wait till you move out to get a snake rather than trying to fool your dad. You want a happy healthy snake, not a dead one in a pillow case and a potentially pissed off dad.
