Hello! I'm going to be a senior in hs & most people at my school have either cool backpacks or tote bags that are on the larger size. I personally love the tote more than the backpack because the weight of your books isn't on your back, but some don't, so it's really up to you.

Just a note: I always buy my school bags at eBags.com because the totes that they have are on the bigger side, so they can fit all of my books. The bags are a tad expensive, but they're excellent quality & I've never had a problem in my 4 years of shopping there. Also, I'd buy from there in July, because it's 20% off the price & free shipping if your bag is over a certain amount. If you're into backpacks, I'd go with a Jansport backpack because they're very durable (which is important), but they're also really cute. =)
