How do I get this stain off my table?

Hi my name is Jessica and I had to finish this science project for school and I got a stain on my mom's nice wood table.. Okay for science, the class had to make out own 3-d cell. For my cell, I used a foam ball and to add color to the foam I used the hair spray colored stuff you use for Halloween to make you hair different colors, you know? I used this: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http ://www.1toystore.com/store/i/is.aspx%3Fp ath%3D/images/products/CS701.jpg&img refurl=http://www.1toystore.com/store/p/ 137881-Cosmetics-Colored-Hair-Spray-Each -Color-White.html&usg=__sxLZ5lrl48wg s0SaXFP7jcSlzhM=&h=234&w=234& ;sz=19&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1& amp;tbnid=pO-utPVyS0-1ZM:&tbnh=144&a mp;tbnw=149&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhallo ween%2Bcolored%2Bhair%2Bspray%26hl%3Den% 26sa%3DX%26gbv%3D2%26biw%3D1345%26bih%3D 528%26tbs%3Disch:1&itbs=1&iact=r c&dur=452&ei=UobHTIP0L5D6swOx962 QDQ&oei=UobHTIP0L5D6swOx962QDQ&e sq=1&page=1&ndsp=16&ved=1t:4 29,r:1,s:0&tx=62&ty=60

Okay so after I sprayed it on my foam ball ( I did it outside) my mom told me not to leave my project outside. So... I brought it inside and set a typical piece of white paper on the wood table and placed my wet project on the paper.. Well... after about ten minutes, my mom picked up the piece of paper and there was this purple circle about the size of four quarters touching side to side on the table! My mom was mad and told me to clean it up with the sponge. So I did. I added soap and water to the sponge and started scrubbing the table... oh uh.. bad mistake. It wasn't coming off so I tried to rough side, which scratched the table! :O so now there's a big circular stain (it turned white) and a scratch on the table. It looks hideous! How do I get it off? Please help me!

My table is like the color of this:

and the stain is like this big without the gap in between:

Ok BEFORE YOU READ THIS SET DOWN....
It sounds like you have rubbed the finish off....( It wasn't coming off so I tried to rough side, which scratched the table! :O so now there's a big circular stain (it turned white) and a scratch on the table. It looks hideous! How do I get it off? Please help me! )

If this is soo you could try restraining touch up ( you would have to get the same stain as your current table/and clear coating - sand the area LIGHTLY ----Then use rubbing alcohol to clean the area ----Then take a paper towel and dab it in your stain and rub it in the area ---(Waite for the area to dry before using the clear coat) Once the area is dry you may have to rub some more stain in (do soo until area match's) once the area has dryed and it match's add the clear coat....

If you have the same type of table as your pics its gona be hard to rematch...

With out seeing it I cant tell you if you have laqqered the clear coat or if you have had some kinda freaky reaction from your project paint and table clear coating

See what compounds are in your (PROJECT PAINT) The paint could have had a element in it that melted the clear coating of your table....
The same way gas melts star-foam...

If you would like add me to yahoo messenger and let me know some more info / OR / if you got pics...

in_time_ur_time_will_be_no_more@yahoo.com

I hope Iv helped you...Tell mommy it is only a table and it can be replaced but her daughter can not be replaced...
Thanks I hope Iv helped God bless!!!

Supplies You will need:
Fine corse sand paper:
Stain and clear coat:
Rubbing alcohol and a old rag to rub area clean with the alcohol...

NOTE: NEVER USE ANYTHING ROUGH ON A CLEAR COATED ITEM...

We are now in the 3rd qtr of school, and I STILL don't have a classroom. Advice from other teachers, please!!?

Sorry this is a bit long but it's easy to follow. Okay, a little background. I was hired as a first grade teacher back at the end of July. Our school started August 3rd. I was told AFTER being hired (and contracted) that my portable classroom did not have electricity, and that it would be a few weeks before it was run to the portable buildings. The other teacher in the same predicament got hired before me and holds her class in the science lab. It is now January 11 and we have been in school over 5 months. Second semester and third quarter have begun. There is still no electricity for my classroom. Back in September, I brought my stuff up, put my room together and am ready to go (except they have yet to provide furniture, either, so there are no desks, tables or a file cabinet). While this is going on, I also do have an assigned student roll. I have 18 kids on my class roll...they are peppered into 5 other 1st grade classrooms. I visit each class once a day (usually...if they have computer or library, I don't see them at all) so I essentially teach MY students each subject one time or less a week. I am held 100% accountable for them, their grades, their DIBELS, etc. I've been pulled to substitute in my grade level as well as other grade levels, but am still responsible for my kids. While I don't mind doing whatever is asked of me, I can't see HOW I can be held accountable for 'my' students in this situation. I just want to quit. I'm looking into private schools now and just mailed out some resumes. But until then, does anyone have any advice? I'm ready to just walk out.

I hope you joined your union when you began working. You need to call them immediately. Check your contract. See what the job description is as listed in your contract. Also check to see what is required in the event that you want to quit. Many teaching contracts do not allow you to quit without some sort of penalty. Your union will be able to give you the best advice. They will advise you on what your rights and options are. Worst case scenario would be to stick it out for this year then put in for a transfer next year. It doesn't seem as if this school has any sense of urgency or respect for your time and capabilities.

How can a stay-at-home mom make some money/income?

With baby on the way and our current budget, my husband and I have concluded that I absolutely have to return to work because of our money situation (we live quite simplisitcally- no vacations, no luxeries, $330 morgatage for a home that is falling apart, no fancy furniture, old cars that are paid off, etc.)

We live in rural America where there are not many high paying job opportunities. My husband has a MS in Animal Science and I have a BA in elementary education. He currently commutes 2 hours a day, five days a week for a job with a feed company and I work 3/4 time teaching computers at a school that is only 30 min commute 4 days a week. What is hurting us horribly is the fuel that my husband consumes for his five day a week job, my husband's ridiculously low salary (and my ridiculously low salary too), and student loans.

We need some ideas. I want to stay at home with baby, save on day care and make a little cash- maybe $600-800 to let us "get by." Thanks for any suggestions

Why not develop an online business in which you target tutoring students electronically or maybe setup a business in which you assist parents who homeschool their children by providing an "approved" lesson plan for various grades, organize educational field trips for the classes, and give the students a chance to socialize and communicate with other home schooled children in a particular neighborhood or city???

I want a job/internship/volunteer experience that will pad my resume for grad school NOT A STUDENT self emplyd?

I have been out of school 6 months (i'm 23), I have a bachelors in political science from the University of Pittsburgh and earn decent money playing poker professionally online (4K-??? tax free a month.) I HAVE SO MUCH DOWN TIME!!!!

I now live in Baltimore MD. I am interested in getting an MBA and maybe a JA as well potentially practice business law.

I also have incorporated a furniture moving business with my friend which only takes up about 8 hours a week (he needs the cash and i figured starting a business helps me wash income and looks good on a resume)

Any advice on something productive i could do with my days for resume/fulfillment purposes? Money is not an issue but time is. Unless its a really sweet gig i won't make enough to justify giving up being a card shark.

Thanks
I already make 70K a year working from home Mr. Scammer

Would you consider volunteering on the board of directors for a non-profit organization? You can find positions by looking on organizations' websites, check the newspaper, or try sites like Charity Village (Canada), Volunteers of America or Volunteer Match (US).

Good luck

Www.infowars.com A significant milestone in the fight against fluoride emerged quietly and without major notice from the mainstream news last week. After decades of ignoring the research about the dangers and hailing water fluoridation as one of the 10 greatest health achievements of the 20th Century (CDC), the government is calling for a reduction in the amount of fluoride it adds to public water supplies, citing its negative effect on teeth (dental fluorosis). For the first time since 1962, the standard for fluoride will be lowered from 1.2 to 0.7 milligrams per liter. Because fluoride from water builds up over time in the human body, this reduction will not eliminate the dangers of fluoride-- which include risk of bone cancer, bone fractures, thyroid disorder, brain inflammation, lowered IQ and mental functions, sterility or reduced fertility and more. However, it is a good sign that the powers-that-be are losing ground on the fluoride debate. Further, the reduction of fluoridation is...
