Im in dental assistant school, and I really need to learn an easy way to remember the tray setup for each procedure.
Amalgam, Composite, Crown and Bridge, and cement crown or Cet Crown. Real answers only please!
Every dentist uses different instruments for various procedures, so it is impossible to give you a general rule.

Hi,
I was in school to be an RN and had Sallie Mae loans and Pell grants. At the program I got told I had to wait because my GPA was only a 3.3. So I got fed up and signed up for an LPN program so I can bridge later. The school is new and said that I have to pay in cash they are not set up for financial aid yet. Where can I get a grant or loan somewhere on my own to help until they get things rolling?
They are not accredited by the federal government and who knows when they will be. Find another school. Or wait until they're accredited. Ask them when they applied for accreditation and how long it will be. You could start the program and they could never be accredited.
You will not be able to be reimbursed for anything that you pay in cash now. You won't be able to get a grant or loan for this school until they're accredited unless you get a private loan that's not a student loan.....at quite a high interest rate.
"WASHINGTON – President-elect Barack Obama, who is set to announce his economic team, promoted an economic plan Saturday he said would create or save 2.5 million jobs by spending billions of dollars to rebuild roads and bridges and modernize schools while developing alternative energy sources and more efficient cars."
"'We'll put people back to work rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, modernizing schools that are failing our children, and building wind farms and solar panels," Obama said. He also made a commitment to fuel-efficient cars and alternative energy technologies "that can free us from our dependence on foreign oil and keep our economy competitive in the years ahead.'"

Unfortunately in the very near future (the next year) available jobs in general will drop. This probably includes engineering. Any government plans will certainly help, but probably will not be greater than the lost jobs from industry.
In the long run I think engineering jobs will increase. So in the meantime get as much education as you can. If you can get a job, work as hard as you possibly can.
My daughter is doing a project where she has to collect items that represent her state - and that is California... We can use a mix of photos, small models, actual items and real items. they need to represent history, geography, manufacturing and climate.
She has come up with the following so far
jet plain model - representing the military aircraft manufactured in CA
Pistachios (SP) nuts grown in CA
a mat with a gold star on it
the box she made to bring her project to school in is the HOLLYWOOD hill with the sign on it -
We have a firefighter helmet - to represent the wildfires as well as that her uncle and soon to be aunt are both CA firefighters.
She has 2 suspension bridges she put together from her train set to represent the GG Bridge
Any other suggestions would be great - ... thanks
it can also represent toutist attractions , farm products... what ever really I guess... Thanks again for any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreicated!!!!
persimmons one of few places they grow, seashells from the beach a mickey mouse sticker, knotts jelly or something like snoopy or charlie brown,
During a lab in school, we set up a bridge circuit that was connected to a power supply and a temperature resistance device. You would think that as temperature lowers and items expand that there would be less resistance. And as the temperature raises and items contract that there would be more resistance. However, we found the opposite. Any suggestions on why?
Nevermind, I figured out the answer. It has to do more with current than actual resistance. The greater the temperature, the greater the current, therefore decreasing the resistance if the voltage remains the same. This is based on the equation R(resistance)=V(voltage)/ I(current). Thanks anyways.
expansion and contraction has little to do with resistance variations.
However, just about all metals have a positive temperature coefficient, that is, as they get hotter the resistance increases.
But there are some special devices, thermistors for example, that have the opposite curve.

School honors veterans
At New Bridge Middle School in Jacksonville, Veterans’ Day is more than a day off from school.
This year, the school’s entire 8th grade class — nearly 150 students in total — took time Monday and Tuesday to learn more about veterans and to reach out to deployed troops.
“Most of (the children) thought a veteran was a person who died in war,” said Sherri Williams, an 8th grade teacher who helped to coordinate the projects. And so the classes got the opportunity to speak to some living veterans, both retired and active-duty, and to honor the memory of the fallen as well.
The students visited Jacksonville’s Beirut and Vietnam memorials Monday, scanning the etched granite walls for names like theirs. Their assignment: to write a letter addressed to the war heroes, thanking them for their bravery and sacrifice.
Williams said that assignment had risen in part out of personal curiosity.
“I, as someone who has lived here my whole life, have never been to those memorials,” Williams said. “We started thinking, these kids have probably never been there either.”
Fong Songs: Belated Bridge School '09 Wrap-up
After the stage was blessed by native dancers, Bridge School founder Pegi Young introduced the students and alumni sitting at the back of the stage before introducing her husband (and school co-founder) Neil Young who kicked off both shows with Comes a Time before turning over the stage to the other artists. He also ended each show with Comes a Time with all the artists on stage, so in total we heard this song four times in less than 48 hours. Part of their inspiration for starting the Bridge School in 1986, which assists individuals with severe speech and physical impairments, was that their son Ben (in attendance) and Zeke (from Neil's previous marriage) were both diagnosed with cerebral palsy. It was very humbling to witness the students and their families enjoying the concert from the back of the stage and think of the major obstacles they've had to overcome in their lives. One remarkable alumni of the Bridge School recently graduated with a double major at the University...
