an accident after burn
my children attend school in ohio and my husband and i both work full-time. I need my children to be picked up from a babysitter's house a couple days a week on a set schedule, however, their drop off location is always home. The school is trying to tell me they've changed the rules and students can only have 1 pick up and drop off location. Can they do that?

A friend just recently learned that her son is made to set on the boarding/unloading steps of the school bus while transporting children to school as a disciplinary action for her (overly active) kindergartner. This sounds like a very dangerous and maybe unlawful decision by the bus driver. I've looked around on the internet and have'nt been able to find any rules or saftey laws. Anyone know where I might find som info?
I would report the bus driver to thier employer, and the school!

I want to covnert an old diesel school bus into an rv. I want to run the RV on biodiesel. My guess is it will end up being a late 80's to early 90's bus. I am going to spend a year traveling the country and am trying to figure out how much I need to set aside for gas. If anyone knows what range of MPG I can expect it would go a long way to helping me make more accurate calculations. Especially info from anyone with experience in school bus conversions would be greatly appreciated.
Just make sure that all is in good order, a dirty air filter will affect your mileage tremendously, and run a high grade fuel injector cleaner through it for a better spray pattern, make sure all your tires are aired up correctly, and keep your foot out of it, to the floor doesnt always mean more power

Grammar is more complex than a lot of people think it is. There’s prescriptive grammar, which is whatever the grammar book says it is. Those of us who study and teach it are very aware of descriptive grammar, which is the way people actually use the language.
If Safire had known only prescriptive grammar, few people would have read his columns, let alone remembered them.
