My reasons for being against uniforms are:
Unable to express self, not related to improving grades, and it's unfair for the whole school to suffer if only a few dress inappropriately.
I need a good way to start and end it:)thanks so much!
I haven't written a paper like this in a while,
but one idea for a start is "Imagine a world where children aren't allowed to express themselves..." Or something along those lines.
Your first sentence should captivate your audience, make them want to read more.
Your conclusion should basically be a summary of your essay. Until you write it, I can't help you.
people all look the same, they cant be individuals.
I need some ideas that are against school uniform or any ideas on how we can personalize it
-School uniform infringes upon our individuality.
-It can be uncomfortable to study in all day.
-It can be boring for students wearing the same thing day in, day out.
If we can't stop wearing uniform altogether, why can't we...?
-Have more non-uniform days (it's for charity!)
-Wear a basic colour scheme (for example navy and black) that still looks smart but you can have more of a choice.
-Be able to have brightly coloured bags, hairbands etc.
I have to write a persuasive essay against school uniforms
<3 body paragraphs>
<good hook and clincher>
So far I have
1. Financial
2. Can't express yourself
3.Violate our rights.
Can someone help me elaborate on them?
You could also add 'not practical' in wintertime [for girls if they have to wear skirts on Mondays] and also because they can be expensive.
I'm going to go to get my hair shaped up and colored up when school starts back up in the beginning of August.
Well, my school has a uniform (grr) but i want to get my hair a darker color and get my bangs bleach blonde. (like Amanda Overmire. and DON'T tell me that's weird. I like her hair)
I was wondering if you'd think it'd be against a school uniform to do that. Or should I do something else with my hair? What do you recomend?
and my hair looks kinda like:

but longer. (about an inch past my shoulder)
***and that's not me***
Amanda Overmire is a singer from american idol, but didn't go to far.
She has dark hair but her bangs are dyed blonde.
NO DUHH!!
Depends what your school is like. I got sent home for stuff like that but I went to a strict catholic school and this was 10 years ago. Do other girls have their hair done in different colours? If so, then you might be able to get away with it, but otherwise be cautious and be prepared for possibly having to lose the cool hair before school begins again.
Corporators flay AMC staffers' lethargy
AMRAVATI: The inefficiency of
government employees has long frustrated the common citizen. But what if someone
who is part of the same system is bothered by it?
The apathetic
attitude of the babus at Amravati Municipal Corporation (AMC) came for some
sharp criticism from none other than the mayor and several other corporators at
a general meeting on Monday.
After much uproar in the house on the
issue of providing school uniforms to students in AMC schools, some corporators
raised the serious issue of the lethargic attitude of the employees and
officials of AMC. Shiv Sena corporator Digambar Dahake said, "It seems the
employees and officials have nothing to do with official work. Action should be
taken against such lazy officials and employees." Corporator Sunil Mehare
suggested that a special report should be presented before the house regarding
the work approved in the last two and a half years, its actual implementation
and the pace at which the work is going
Armenia: School Uniforms: In Good or Bad Taste? | Chalkboard
YEREVAN | Gayane Grigoryan, a 27 year-old resident of Yerevan, wore her school uniform for only a couple of weeks at the start of the second grade. When Armenia declared its independence from the Soviet Union in September 1991, schoolchildren were told they could wear whatever they wanted in the classroom from that day on. But, eighteen years later, the debate over whether or not students should be obliged to wear school uniforms is far from stowed away in the back of the closet.
Students, themselves, are divided on the issue.
Fourteen year-old Suren Daboyan is a student at School № 1 in Yerevan, where all her fellow pupils wear uniforms after a recent joint decision taken by the parents’ committee and the teachers’ council. “When students wear uniforms, they are all equal. When they don’t and some dress better than the rest, the other students feel shy,” said Daboyen.
Astghik Tadevosyan, 15, studies at School № 146 in Yerevan, where students do not wear uniforms. “I would like us to wear uniforms so that we would all look more like students,” said Tadevosyan, adding that some of her classmates, as well as the school administration, are against the idea.
