I'm going into 8th grade and my school uniform is a navy or plaid skirt, a white polo shirt and a red, grey or blue sweatshirt. I need some clothes for the free dress days and was just wondering what I should get. My budget's about $100-$250.

I dont have any idea what to wear? You're only aloud to wear black grey and white with no big logos etc. I'm a guy. What should I wear and how could i make them look different as I don't have enough money to buy a new set of clothes every day for the next 2 years! What is your budget for your new school clothes ?
unless you wear a uniform then, this is mainly just for people who don't wear a uniform at their school , or if you just really want to list the cost of your uniform feel free lol uh yeah
i don't really have a specific budget, but so far i have spent $200.
My school has a uniform,but I want to seem stylish on the day back.
-white plain blouse
-black bottoms (jeans,trousers/formal pants,skirts)
-black/white/grey sweater (can be any design)
And we're aloud colored accessories and shoes and bags,and I'm indie :)
Any suggestions to what I could wear to be pretty and stand out? :D
Try to go for the schoolgirl look, which I think looks really cute.
For the accessories, if you can wear sneakers, then wear some converse, which would look cute with the skirt. Get some colorful long socks that go up to your knees, or something lower than that if you prefer. Get a colorful/fun backpack or bag too. And accessorizing with jewelry ALWAYS works.
With the colorful accessories, you can totally look fun and stylish if you know how to work with them correctly. (:

W ith Christmas and New Year (just) behind us, and still a few weeks of the school holidays to go, I (quietly because I don’t want to freak the kids out. hehe) start thinking about what I need to do and buy to be organised for the kids to go back to school. Not that I’m wishing the time to hurry but, you know how it goes, time flies when you’re having fun and all of a sudden school starts in a week and you have to run around like a chook with it’s head cut off!
At the beginning of the year, I always go through the kids’ uniforms to see what is still ok to be used and what needs to be replaced.
Only two of the Gray kids are at school now. Well, Annabelle *is* at preschool but obviously, she has no need for uniforms and school supplies…yet.
This year, Mads is in Year 10 which means having to buy the seniors’ uniform and all of her junior uniforms will be put away for Giorgia when she starts high school.
Uniforms can be expensive even when the kids go to public schools (please don’t send me hate mail about how much private school uniforms cost. I know that it costs a whole heap more) so I do tend to take a few short cuts.
