I need to know what type of privacy or modesty shorts I need to get for next year's school uniform.
If u were going to go to a catholic co-ed school where they wear skirts a few inches above the knee (not too crazy high), are modesty shorts even needed?
Are they more for modesty, or warmth???
What's the deal with modesty shorts in these situations?
Well, I wear them because I've taken more than my fair share of tumbles this year and don't need pervy little boys looking when I do. Also, I wear them when I wear a skirt because we get some chilly winters here, if that's not warm enough, try dark nylons or full length leggings
As for what kind, I just wear spandex! I have it for gymnastics already so it's easy. La Senza actually sells some!

I would say if you have to have a uniform but still want to look cute, definitely JCPenny, Kohl's, or even Old Navy there khaki's are cute without being ridiculous looking and for a great price too.

I live in the middle of nowhere and I used to live in a busy town with plenty of shops. I am now wondering where I can get school uniform from online,besides eBay.
Not too expensive but good quality.

Hi everyone :] I'm planning to do a Vampire Knight cosplay and I have no idea what kind of cloth to get. The fact that I'm new at cosplaying doesn't help either. Any suggestions?
well - for the jacket, i would go with a garbadine and maybe wool - it will be warmer, but it will give you the crisp lines that you need - i would not go with cotton broadcloth because it does not have the stability to hold the shape
Shirts are short sleeve and come in baby blue, navy, burgundy, and white.
I have a khaki skirt and khaki bermuda shorts and I may be getting a navy skirt, but I am not positive.
Also if you think a certain accessory would be fitting please say.
Oh and btw I'm in eighth grade.
Navy and khaki go best together in my opinion, but burgundy may be better depending on your skin tones. Gold goes best with khaki, so maybe bangles or if thats not your style, a charm necklace.

2009 Festival of Lights queen crowned in East Peoria
EAST PEORIA, Ill. -
After competing against 10 other young women Saturday morning at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in East Peoria, 17-year-old Jessica Stake was crowned as the 2009 Festival of Lights queen.
The pageant, now in its 24th year, set a new record for attendance, said Teresa Mustain, chairwoman of the event.
“I want to thank these 11 exquisite ladies,” she said. “They have the courage and conviction to get on the stage to participate in this pageant.”
This year’s queen received a $1,000 scholarship, while the first runner-up was awarded a $400 scholarship and the third runner-up received a $200 scholarship. The queen’s duties will include riding in the 2009 Parade of Lights on Nov. 28 and representing East Peoria in many other capacities during the coming year.
The contestants, all East Peoria residents, introduced their families, talked about their hobbies and said what they hoped to do in the future. They also explained how they could be a role model for others, and each answered a final question reserved just for her. The contestants were judged on appearance, personality and poise.
