High School Uniform

I am wanting to take my junior year of high school in japan. So, I want to know how much a public high school uniform would be. Also, how much would the winter top be. And if you know this, how much would the uniforms be?

There is no simple answer to your question.

It depends on each school.

And uniform is not only one product. It's total set of blouse, skirt, shoes, socks, bag and even uniform for gym class.

You have to buy all of them. I don't know how much it could be. But I think it could be 40,000-80,000 yen in general.

After summer I start high school and I have to wear a uniform.
Its mainly all black and white, but it has the logo on all the shirts which is blue.
You cant wear colored tanks, they are fairly strict that way. How can I dress it up or what can I do to still look good even though I have a non flattering uniform on? Thanks a ton!

The key is accessories. headbands, belts, SHOES, socks, and jewelry are essential to stand out. What I like to do is tuck in my shirt. We have pleated khaki skirts and they're kinda granny like but when you tuck them in they are like high waisted skirts. Kinda hard to pull off though, I don't always do. If you are allowed to wear shorts, those usually look best with the shirt tucked in and a cool belt. If your shorts are a weird length, cuff them till they fit (but not so short that you can get in trouble for it). Same with pants. Cuffing your pants to make really cute crop pants or rolling them up to make capris can look really good. It really depends on what look you're going for.

Also, if you're allowed to, sweaters can completely transform your uniform. (AND SCARFS TOO!!!)

I just bought a uniform today for my first year of High School. When I told my parents I wanted to get a small size because it was comfortable, my dad said I will grow out of it next year. I ended up buying all medium. When I tried them on, I hated it SO much. Is it true that its best to buy a size bigger of your original size because I will grow out of a smaller size?

Sometimes, but honestly it depends on how fast you grow for example you could have been a really tall person in elementary school and done most of your growth then. You could also have been the short one and then suddenly get taller.Or you could just be short and not hit that big of a growth either way its mostly just how you grow all around.

my public school system is making all of the high school wear uniform this year. i don't see how wearing uniform is gonna stop boys from sagging and stop fights from happening. people are still going to worry about what shoes you have on or what logo is on your shirt.

what do you guys think?

I just think that uniforms are ugly and make me look weird. I would have hated to wear khaki bottoms everyday and I never tuck in my shirt, it is uncomfortable. I think that if I had to wear uniforms, school would have been worse for me. My sister had to, and my mom said it was more expensive buying uniforms than it would have been if she could just wear the clothes she already had.

It doesn't stop boys from sagging. If you want them to stop sagging, you have to tell them, even in uniform. Fights are still going to happen because fights can happen for many stupid reasons, like over a girl, or because of something that happened in gym or even a pencil! And I do agree, people will still find something t pick on people about whether it be the logo on the uniforms, or someones shirt is faded, or hair, shoes, anything. Kids are cruel, when they wear uniforms and when they do not wear uniforms.

You still have to "waste time deciding about what you are going to wear." Most schools let you choose between skirts, or pants. Navy or Khaki pants. White, Blue, or Navy shirts. While the selection is not as big as it would be if there were no uniforms, it still takes my sister 20 minutes to decide what she is going to wear in the morning.
