I love everything japanese and I was wondering how I could make a school uniform hand-made? Like, what things can I use to make one?
well you'll need cloth of course( probably navy or white for the majority and white or navy for the ribbon part contrast the colors!) I guess you basically make a pleated skirt, and then make a sailor shirt and then make a ribbon/tie thing. i've been looking for a japanese school uniform for a really long time... all the ones for a decent price havent been of good quality but the good quality ones are really expenisve... is there any place where you can but a good quality japanese school uniform that wont clean out your wallet?

I've been trying to find a Japanese School Uniform, but one durable enough so I can wear it to school. I do not want it for a one time thing. If possible, I would like for it NOT to be shipped from China/Japan.

I'm curious as to how much a japanese student pays for their school uniform. Nothing fake or used for cosplay, but authentic uniforms.
The cost of a private high school winter uniform is about five hundred American dollars.
I need a japanese school uniform for a photo shoot but everything on ebay is costume / cosplay. anyone know where I can get a real one that's not too expensive? Or where to get separates that I could work with?

(セーラー服) Means sailor outfit. In 1920, it was introduced as a school uniform in Heian Jogakuin (平安女学院).
