No School Uniform

I have to wear uniform for 1 more year! Yes!!! I want to look fresh this year. I have to wear polos (any color, but no logos) khaki, navy or black twill pants (they are not aloud to be skinnys, stupid school :/) with a belt, and no purses! Ugh :/ We can have accessory's though, thank god! We cant have crazy hair styles... :[ So I need somthing calm and not to out there.

Try accessorizing with things like headbands, brooches, cute shoes, and jewelry. Girl's Life Magazine's site has a ton of articles about how to dress up a uniform, so I posted some of the links.

We seem to be obsessed with school uniform in the UK.

The vast majority of students, teachers and parents all support it. Nobody is actually happy about the uniform they have to wear but most people want a uniform of some kind.

Uniform causes incredibly bitter disputes between students and schools, especially where the parents support the child.

Scools invest a massive amount of time and effort in policing minor uniform infractions.

Most other countries have no uniform but higher educational standards. If uniform is a good thing, why don't other countries copy our example?

No it doesn't at all, TRUST me...
I have attended Catholic school for half of my life, and they require us to wear a uniform.
At the same time, people are still in gangs, smoke/started smoking, got into fights, and more....
You can't teach a child discipline by giving them a certain outfit to wear.

I just transfered from a public school to a private school last year. The people still acted the same - actually worse! And most of them have been wearing uniforms for most of their life.

I'm starting high school this September and I have to wear uniform but I still want to look really cute and stylish so what can I do any tips or ideas

My uniform:
White or navy blue collard shirt (with no logos)
White or khaki bottoms
Outwear (sweaters jackets cardigans etc have to be navy blue or white )
cream can pretty much pass so that color is ok any ideas on how to accessories my uniform make it look cute whAt jewelry or other accessories should I use any other ideas would be great thanks!

My suggestion would be to wear cute, eye-catching headbands, a bold neck scarf with your collared shirt, pin brooches you find at thrift stores to the outside of your sweaters, wear bright colored tights, change your collared shirt out for a ruffled collar shirt or if possible, wear a cute belt. If you Google search "Gossip Girl Uniform," you can find a ton of inspiration. :)

Our school uniform is: a blue, yellow, white, or red colored polo with brown, tan, navy blue, or black pants, shorts, skirt, or capris. The shorts and skirts have to be almost knees length. Shoes have to have a back and no sandals. You always have to wear socks and leggings aren't alowed. Basically hair and accessories are however you want them. I know my uniform isn't as bad as most people but how can I make it more stylish?

the purpose of uniforms.....to create uniformity throughout the school....i understand wanting to be stylish but you are kind of defeating the purpose aren't you?....everyones clothing is supposed to look the same so i suggest jewelery, hair, and make up are your only other options

My school is very strict & I need some ideas to make it not so boring.
-Earrings can't be bigger then a quarter.
-Necklaces must be tucked into the shirt.
-Only black flats.
-Hair can only be a natural hair color.
-No facial piercings or tattoos.

My uniform is khaki pants & a navy,white,or maroon polo with our school's logo. & You can only wear a sweater with our school logo.

Any ideas to make me stand out?

wear bracelets and rings. and earrings that you're allowed to wear. headbands and cute clips/barrettes in your hair. some cute black ballet flats like these http://di1.shopping.com/images1/pi/dd/14 /a3/76725761-300x300-0-0_Gap+Gap+Womens+ Black+Ruffle+Ballet+Flats+true+blac.jpg< br /> or something like that. and if your allowed to wear makeup then maybe some cool colored eyeshadow(but be careful with that, dont overdo it).
