My mum kept my tie and first blazer plus my school reports but everything else was passed on or found its way into the bin. You will be pleased to know that at the end of reception I knew my colours and had mastered numbers 1-10. I was not reading or writing but still considered to be doing very well. My poor kids have had a lot more expected of them at the end of reception!! It aint all bad these days!!

School Uniforms For Primary School

School Uniforms For Primary School In Indonesia.First class.

How many school uniform should I buy for my daughter starting state primary school?

Help please!! My daughter will begin reception in the next september.
How many we will need? sweatshirt with embroidered logo?, polo shirts with embroidered logo?
Set uniform P.E.?
Is it better to buy many cheap pieces, or worth it to spend more on quality?
Thanks in advance

Buy 2 sweatshirts with logos, but 4 plain polo shirts - maybe one with the logo if you like.

I normally buy the sweatshirts at school and then the other stuff at M&S or Sainsburys - do not spend a lot of money because she will soon outgrow it or loose it. Remember to name everything.

Also I'm not sure of your school but ours will probably still wear summer dresses in September so maybe buy 2 of those as well.

Just buy one PE kit which is normally shorts (joggers in winter), t-shirt (sweat shirt in winter) & trainers.

Good quality school shoes is a must though.

where can i get school uniform patterns for girls in primary school?

I'm trying to make girls uniforms for my daughter and i cant get patterns anywhere and our school does not supply uniforms for the girls to wear but I believe they should be in uniforms.

There are stores that sell these clothing items specifically for private school kids. Try researching some stores near your area on yahoo, keywords "local private school uniform stores".

Hope I helped!

Do you think its weird to keep your old primary and high school uniform?

I'm turning 20 soon and have come to the conclusion that i might be a little weird because i have kept my entire grade 6, year 9, 11 and 12 uniform.

Has anyone else kept their old uniforms? or am i a little weird.

hey its not wierd.. Its gud! I widh I had kept a pair or two too. Its a gr8 piece or momento and a gr8 thing for your memories! Keep them for life, and show to your grand kids! Coz m sure by d time u have ur grand kids, things wld b vry different, n such things as ur school dress wld b looked wid a lot of curiosity by dem! just imagine how u wld have felt to see ur great-grand pa's belongings at this time if he had left u dem!

What colour was your primary school uniform?

Mine was maroon and pale blue.
Tie, blazer and beret - the works!

Brown and orange!! YUK!! with thick orange tights!! And what makes it worse is that my mum used to make my pinafores and my nan knitted the jumpers!! Poor scrutty kid I was!! Life is so much better now!

MBABANE, Jan 19 (IPS) – The new school year opened with hope – and hunger – in Swaziland this week: an estimated 140,000 orphans and vulnerable children are among the small, eager faces in the mountain kingdom’s classrooms. Poverty and the AIDS pandemic threaten to make an early mark on the next generation.

“Besides their not having the proper school uniform, the orphans don’t have warm clothes,” said Zwane Georgina Zwane, a teacher at Motshane Central Primary School.

“It breaks my heart to see them shivering in class on a cold day
.

Many of these children also come to school on an empty stomach and it is difficult for them to concentrate in class before they get their meal at school during break time.

This year she has even more to worry about with regards to orphans and vulnerable children because principals have refused to accept OVCs back into class.
