School Uniform Company

I would prefer to get unmarked polos from American Eagle than from the school's uniform company. Is this against the rules, or is it acceptable?

It depends on the school policies.If costing is a problem then your school might have an op shop or other people might be finished wearing uniforms.Ask around.

I know a great uniform company in the Bronx.
Its called Flynn and O'Hara Uniforms. They have almost EVERYTHING there! You can call at 718-863-7561 and they're open from 9:30AM - 5:00PM from Monday - Saturday. The address is 136 Westchester Square. I hope you find what you need!!

My school uniform is soo strict -

1. NO jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, only stud earings are allowed)

2. You can only wear black dress shoes

3. NO bright coloerd knee socks, only navy blue

4. NO crazy hair clips, heabands, etc

5. NO makup (I do anyways)

They just made the no bracelet rule today, I am soo mad! They said if they ever see them again they will take them away. I have been wearing a ring though..


By the way, we have to wear navy blue kneesocks, plaid skirts (from some uniform company) and navy polo shirts with our school name stictched in it on the corner

My daughter is starting secondary school in Westminster, London, England. On September 2007.
If she gets into the school state school I want the uniform costs over £950.00 and all the uniform has to be brought by the time they start.
I am not on benefit so I can't ask social.
Is there any one I can get help from charity’s or other company's or is this another way of a school that is not private making sure that only well off people can send there children there.

Try charities or ask the school.Sometimes they have secondhand uniforms for sale on the site.Sometimes people sell them for half the price through an ad in the paper.

Check with the school where your children are enrolled. Where my grandson goes to school, the children can bring outgrown uniforms to the school and they are distributed from there to the poor & needy.
