School Uniform Dress

My school dress code consists of , my school polo shirt (Red, Blue, Black) and on Friday's we can wear a reg. school t-shirt. *Shirts have to be tucked in* For pants, we can wear jeans, and any solid colored pair of pants. As long as they are not too tight. (with a belt)
I have been trying to dress the uniform up. Wearing cute matching accessories, and such. Apparently, it hasent been doing much.

Any ideas on how to jazz it up, or make it more.. me? Thanks guys!

I wear uniform too so you are not alone. I wear navy blue pants and white shirts. This is what i do, I paint my nails different colors but Bright colors. Catch peoples attention also you can add sparkly things like stars from a craft store.To jazz up your eyes use sparkly eyeshadow. Try an eye color that is similar to your skin color. You can also add jewelry. I use bangles or the right size earrings. I also wear bright cool rings like silver. Silver matches red, blue, black and white so wear bangles. My sister got me some from the brand Arizona. If you want to make your uniform you then ask yourself what do you like. I like to wear converse and my favorite boots my tall black ugg boots. Not everyone has the same style but i hoped i helped you :] .

I was just curious about other people's middle and high school uniforms/dress codes. My Massachusetts public school is not strict about it, the main rules for girls are fingertip length shorts and tank top straps must be as wide as 2 fingers. If you break it, then you get a few warnings and after that have to change into something from the lost and found...everyone breaks it, and just hides from the teachers who get mad. Well anyway yeah I was just wondering how other people had it.

I'm in college now so I don't have a dress code. But here is what my high school's dress code was (Public North Carolina school).

-- No shirts that showed your back, stomach, sides, or shoulders.
-- Shirts/dresses could not show cleavage. You had to be able to lay your hand flat on your chest and be able to touch your collarbone and the top of your shirt. If you couldn't do that your shirt was too low cut.
-- Shirts couldn't be longer than your fingertips.
-- Shorts, dresses, and skirts had to be fingertip length or longer.
-- Pants/shorts had to be worn on the waist. If they sagged you had to wear a belt with them.
-- No clothing that promoted sex, violence, drugs, alcohol, or gangs. Clothing couldn't have cuss words on them either.
-- Bras and underwear couldn't be showing.
-- No hats, bandannas, or head coverings were allowed to be worn in the building.
-- No bedroom slippers or pajamas were allowed.
-- No shorts or pants that had words on the butt were allowed.
-- No holes in jeans above the fingertips.

Not all of the dress code was enforced though. The only thing the teachers really cared about was the head coverings and the shoulders being shown. If your butt was falling out of your bottoms then they would make you change and if your shirt was too low they would tell you to pull it up, but other than that the dress code wasn't really enforced. Of course there were the few teachers that were super strict and made sure you followed all of the dress code. You leanred who those teachers were and hid from them!

If your school has a uniform policy or a strict dress code (Like collared shirts and dress pants) Do the sports teams (football players, basketball players,cheerleaders) get to wear their uniforms to school?

I am in Ireland and you do have to wear a strict uniform. If you mean P.E then you wear your uniform but if you are playing like in a hurling final you wear that uniform. In my school there aren't any school teams but if you join one out of school sometimes the matches are held during school and you wear your uniform, but when it comes to time to play the match, you change but afterwards you change back. There are no cheerleaders anywhere in any school in the country so no one worries about that.

P.S. I think that the Japanese school uniforms are cute but i dont really wear skirts that short and we are not even allowed them that short in school.

I don't know how to dress vintage, but I really like what the fashion is about.
I'm not following a label I just like the way vintage is portrayed, it suits my personality.
So please help me find ideas of how to dress vintage in school uniform.
What do I need?
What sort of vintage make-up, should a person with dark skin, be wearing?

1] hair style - flip, pageboy, French twist
2] hair accessories - headbands, bows, 'diamond' or 'pearl' clips
3] reto earrings - big pearls, large beads, fat bangles [ not all at once ]
4] legs - knee scoks, tights [ vs bear legs or hose ]
5] shoes - tie oxfords, loafers, patent leather strap shoes
